The staff and care was exceptional and my mom made several friends there. The size of the facility really made a difference in the social experience. I would recommend Home Sweet Home of Athens to anyone who is worried about placing a family member in a facility, because this place made an enormous difference in my mother's and my quality of life. Staff very approachable and available for family concerns. Brochure says 90 min of assisted living staff but that is not always the case. Will come when called. Do clean each week and for a fee will do laundry. The place is clean and bright. Activities available each day or weekly.
