These areas include 10 hours of initial training within the first 4 weeks of employment and 4 additional hours annually, the aging process, medication policies and procedures, and how to recognize early signs of illness. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include meals must comply with residents’ dietary preference, communities must provide at least three meals per day and snacks, meals must include an appropriate variety of foods, planned in consideration of cultural and religious backgrounds , and meals must comply with diet prescribed by physicians.
