Bay Harbor Assisted Living and Memory Care of Ripon
4.5

My loved one is very happy here, I'm very happy with this facility as well. The staff is very friendly. They have a new Activities Director and she's wonderful. My husband got to the point where he was unable to stand. After three days of working with her, he's standing and looking almost normal! I'm very impressed. This Activities Director is awesome and is just what they needed here. My loved one can be quite messy when he eats and they've been pretty good about cleaning him up after meals. I just wish the floors weren't carpet. They are a bit short staffed and my loved one complains that he sometimes doesn't get to bed on time, he likes to go to bed early. But we understand. Other places have made my loved one feel like he's on the verge of getting kicked out, but not here. He feels safe here. It's expensive, but every facility is. I have recommended this facility to family and friends and will continue to!

I am very independent. I don't need much help. I would like some help sometimes with cleaning. I don't email or anything like that. I have one of the smallest rooms. I have a payee, I am not sure how much I pay, but I assume I pay a lot. I help others to get things when I can. staff has improved.
