Memory Care
Great staff, great care and I really enjoy the facility. Huge positive changes in the last 6 months
The value for cost is hard for me to answer I think for the cost there would be more included in the price but I do know they are competitive in pricing. Plus weekends are real boring for them. I feel sorry for people who don't have family. Over all I was happy
Brookdale west was very clean and had friendly staff. Excellent quality of care food was good although I didn't like that family is not allowed in the dining room. Activities were plentiful and looked interesting. Good value for cost but I think it would be better and more fair to spread out the one time activities fee of [fee removed] over the first year. My reasoning for this is that my father was only able to stay there about 2 weeks. He had 4 falls in that time. Twice he rolled out of bed. I believe this was because the bed was uncomfortable for him and he was too close to the edge. Except for a few rules it is a great place. I wish there could be a level of care for people who are needing a lot of help with ADL's but don't need skilled nursing. Some place that doesn't depend on Medicaid as its primary payer and drives the cost of care up for private pay. Brookdale is worth checking out. The call bells could use updating.
