... we are so happy dad is living at Balfour! Balfour Ann Arbor is truly unlike any other senior living community in the Ann Arbor area! From the initial phone call asking for information to my dad comfortably living in assisted living, the staff, residents, and overall experience has been unlike anything myself or my family could have imagined. My dad even called me the other day to tell me he was too busy socializing, doing one on one activities, and swimming, he didn't have the time to talk to me! The nursing staff are amazing and the food, although delivered during COVID, is incredible! We are so happy we moved my dad into Balfour because he is finally living life to the fullest again!!
Like a lot of facilities, Burcham Hills had some trouble with their staffing levels. However one of the best things about this community was our loved ones room - it was wonderful with really big windows that brought in a lot of natural light. It was very enjoyable to be in as well as visit.
A perfect place for my parents to reside. My Step Mom was independent and my Father needed assistance. Downsized from two story condo to Handicapped accessible 1 story apartment. My Dad was in and out hospital to rehab several times....needed more homecare. Mom 90 years old Dad 89. The Village offered best of both worlds for both parents. Dad's moved in with minimum level of care. As needed increased, on to Hospice. Both in home care and Hospice care were wonderful. Managers, activities, food...all services were GREAT! The staff(all) were compassionate & genuine allowing my Dad to pass on with grace and dignity. I would 100% recommend Village Manor. My Father is Eternally Home. My Step-Mom continues to reside and is very safe, happy and well liked. She is the beautiful lady who never complains and will always be wearing a SMILE. THANK YOU EVERYONE.!
