Sensations Memory Care Residence

When I had to find a home to place my mom in, I couldn't have found a better place then sensation's.right away I found peace, the experience has been wonderful the people that work there are awesome caregivers, I can sleep at night because I have sensations caring staff that care for our mom, I would recommend them to anyone going through what I have had to do.they are the best place

My sister was at Sensations due to a brain infection. Even though she thought she was fine, she couldn’t live on her own anymore. The staff was so amazing during her stay and also when she was diagnosed with lung cancer. When she passed at the facility everyone was so caring to all of our family. Special mention to [names removed], and even the cook, [name removed], for their special caring for my sister, Joy Clark.

Sensations Memory Care took good care of my mother-in-law. I felt very comfortable with her there after a not so good experience elsewhere. The staff was genuine and caring. The facilty was very clean. I also liked the fact that they also had private rooms to visit with the resident.

I've not had experience with any other facility so I can't answer that one. I did tour 2 other places in Lansing and they were much too big and not the right fit. The place is great. They have some exceptional staff. They talk to residents with love. There are no smells. I knew immediately this was the place for her.

Sensations is an awesome place for your loved family member who needs care. The staff treats residents just like family, and bond with their residents. Highly recommend this memory care home. You will not be disappointed in the care your loved one receives there.

My aunt was a resident there. She received excellent care. She absolutely loved the food. Her room was kept clean and they took care of her laundry They had activities and worship service. She was happy about that as she could no longer easily attend church. The staff treated her with compassion and dignity. We were overwhelmed with the decision to move her to a home but the admissions lady was so helpful and answered all of our questions and addressed each concern. We have never regretted the decision. Sensations was not only a home for her but an extended family for all of us.

I toured this home and it is very nice. I’m not ready for placement yet but will keep it in mind when in need. Facility was clean and smelled fresh. The patients were eating lunch and it looked delicious! The gal I toured with was great, very informative and knowledgeable! Very Lovely place. I have reached out to her for several questions and she is always willing to help! I would recommend her and Sensations in the future!

We brought a dear friend to Sensations as it was no longer safe for her to live alone. From Day 1, she felt very at-home and she settled in better than we expected since she was very, very independent. The staff was caring and thoughtful, making sure she always had what was needed to have a successful day. We would hear stories about how friendly and helpful this or that person was and how they accommodated her need to be walking whenever she wasn't sleeping or eating. Our friend passed in July and we miss her but we also miss the smiling faces we encountered in our visits.

Sensations has saved [name removed] life twice. A place for 24hr care for him after a heart transplant and then a second stay after he had a stomach infection. He is doing much better now and loves the care givers.

Both my mother and father-in-law have been residents at Sensations. They were treated with love and respect as was the rest of our family when we came to visit. They are the best! My father-in-law was in hospice care at Sensations. They were very supportive of the family during that difficult time.

Sensations Memory care in Charlotte Michigan, is a five star in my opinion my mother was expected to reside in Sensation March of 2021. The health care has been wonderful and accommodating to are family's needs.

I’m very happy with this place. They made it so pleasant and very helpful when it came time to move my mother. They were really good about making her feel comfortable. Everyone is so helpful with making sure she has everything she needs.

My moms care at Sensation has been amazing The staff is always so caring with her. We could't have picked a better place for our mom. Would highly recommend Sensations to anyone looking for a memory care facility.

We have been very happy with moving our mom into Sensations Memory Care. The staff here has been great and we have found that our mom is doing much better overall from her previous residence. Even her appearance is well kept. We don't have to worry about her escaping.

All staff does great with some difficult issues. They keep families informed about how their members are doing. Always clean and well care for. I have been pleased with everything they offer. Good value with no cost for washing clothes or hair cuts.
