It's the best facility within a 100 miles. The staff is helpful and friendly. She enjoys the food somedays and others not so much. I think it will get better as they just changed the chef. This is a locked memory unit. They provide exercise, sing a long, puzzles and field trips for their activities. They have a facebook and text line to communicate with the family members of the residents.
There are not that many activities for the residents, it is very expensive but the care is pretty good. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families it's a newer facility and fairly well run. It helps that it has independent, assisted, and memory care.
I love the fact Sunrise takes wonderful care of my grandma. She 90 years old and she seems very comfortable to allow assistance when needed the most. Thank you Sunrise for showing love and compassion for all the residents especially my grandmother.
