We chose Brookdale West Hartford because I knew the sales rep. We needed to make a quick move and they were amenable to everything we requested and it is was in a good location as well. The staff are very accommodating. The sales staff, nurses, activity director, CNA's - everybody. My only complaint is the food. My loved one was a picky eater and she was very limited on her options and you did not know in advance. It was probably ok for others, just not for her situation. I would definitely recommend Brookdale to others.
They have been great. It is a smaller facility so it feels much homier. The staff seems to be very in tune with all of the residents there. They get really personalized care, we really could not be happier. I looked at 4 different places and this one was by far the best and the least the expensive. It has been the perfect fit and I would highly recommend Ocean Meadow to other families looking.
The staff here is really friendly and they are helpful. We think that this is a big step up from the last place we were at. My loved one loves it here and they have a bunch of activities for her to get involved. She likes the food and is getting settled in nicely.
