This facility is pretty nice inside, but I would maybe suggest a deep clean. It's not terrible or anything, but a deep clean could do a lot for the overall appearance. Housekeeping is once a week for the rooms. They do ok. I have seen some disgusting things on the walls a few times. When I mentioned it to housekeeping, they shrugged it off. The staff is really good and easy to get along with. Communication with the family is pretty good, they keep us pretty informed either by text, phone, or in person. They're proactive when we mention issues, though. Pretty quick to correct things. The food quality could be better, but good variety. They have a nice, secure, enclosed garden out back for the residents to enjoy. Bigger than most places I've seen. The grounds are really nice, lots of roses around. They also work with VA benefits, which I've found isn't common for most places. I would recommend them to family and friends.

This community is not what I wanted for my husband's care. The community did not have access to water. The staff did not make sure that he was not giving him the care that i needed. The community was clean and the activiites were offered to him. I would recommend this community, but they need to just residents . Over all this is a nice community and I would recommend the community to other families for good care .

Prestige Assisted Living at Oroville
4.6

I toured between 20 to 30 facilities with all levels of care all within a 30 miles from my home. The Prestige at Oroville offers memory care and offered the best value and fit for our needs. The food is excellent, it can get a little repetitive, but it was a lot better than other places. We had meals at a lot of other facilities, the Prestige's food was excellent. My dad seems to really like it at the Prestige as well. The director and the staff are very good and very friendly. The Prestige is also very clean.
