This is a beautiful facility. The staff, and overall atmosphere was very positive. We were very impressed with the quality and size of the room options. There seemed to be enough activity to please any guest. Even though we didn't sample the food, the dining facility looked amazing.

The Hawthorne Park staff was extremely helpful to my mom and our family. The staff was attentive, always available, and answered all of our questions.

Brand new, large, well-equipped apartments inside a distinctive older building. A nice sense of spaciousness and light throughout the entire building. The trees and lake make for a beautiful, park-like setting. Resort-like amenities — wine bar, heated pool (doubt if either of these would interest my dad), and even a boat for rides on the adjacent lake. Quiet atmosphere while we were there on a Saturday mid-day. Location is very convenient, off of US 98 on north side of Lakeland.

Very nice! Really appreciated that the staff stopped what they were doing to introduce themselves to my mom & I. Felt very welcoming. Great location.

Awesome - paradise, but not for Aunt BettyToo glitzy

We toured this community for the care for my mom. We were happy with the staff who were able to answer the questions we had. The community was clean and the menu was appealing. We wanted a community that was able to work with our financial needs. We would recommend that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

I really like the care that my mom is getting here from the care in this community. The staff keeps me informed on her progress. They do offer activities for the residents that want to participate. The community is very clean. I happy to know that she is getting wonderful care for a good value.The menu is outstanding and she likes that the chief is very nice and comes to speak with the residents in the dining area. The We would recommend this community for the care to other families.

This is the place for our mother. We do not have to look any further. I was just so pleased with the whole layout and the proper care that our mother would be taken care of on an everyday basis. They have so much to offer for their residents at brookdale Hawthorne. I was very satisfied with mom transitioning from assisted living to memory care when that time came. They really make your love ones living there a stay at home environment. A big thanks goes out to [Removed]/ a place for mom and [Removed] at the Brookdale of Hawthorne for the fantastic job they do to help make it a place for mom/dad. [Removed]

I am happy with this community for the care that my mom is receiving. The meals are outstanding in everyway. The community is very clean. They offered her activities for her to participate. We would recommend this for outstanding care for a loved one. We found this to be a good value for the care that is received.

Great facility & excellent staff. They go beyond what is expected to make my mother feel welcome and like she is at home. When the time came that Mom was unable to continue living independently, she told us that she had heard good things about Brookdale- Lexington/West Columbia & had a friend who is currently living there & was very happy. Mom has been at Brookdale-Lexington/West Columbia for 3 weeks now and we are not disappointed- she seems to be making the transition about as well as can be expected.

I was impressed that they had senior housing for seniors that didn't have a place to stay that were furnished and had meals to offer. I would recommend it to someone else. It's a nice, safe, clean place to stay.

I was very impressed with this place. It had things that were very surprising to me, such as the way it was run. IT did not have the smell that most homes have. It was very clean and the way the hired help was always busy cleaning or doing things for the people that live there. The rooms were a good size for a person to live in. They have activities for the residence to join in. The cost was very reasonable.

I don't have anything to compare it to, but I think it's a five. My Mother-in-law is doing really well there. They do offer quite a bit of activities, she goes to the ones she wants to, like the wine and cheese party. She is loving the food and gaining weight.

We toured this community while looking into senior living options for my loved ones. I thought Brookdale Hawthorne Park seemed like a nice place, overall! It's a smaller place, and everyone seemed very friendly and welcoming. My parents weren't quite ready for assisted living, so we ended up going for somewhere with a slightly more independent feel, but this place was high on our list!
