A truly shining gem

W.E.L at Stapeley only deserves applause! Admission process was easy and impressive. The building, historical value and grounds itself are an architectural gem hidden in he middle of Mt. Airy. The hallways were full of introductions and smiling happy hello’s. ALL of Stapeley staff(nursing, caretakers, kitchen prep, maintenance, room cleaners, laundry, front desk and management) are all A-#1!!!—kind, attentive, and compassionate. Nurse and doctor care is thorough and any questions or concerns are always addressed in a timely manner with much patience. One quickly becomes part of a Community at Stapeley- working, crying, and laughing together- supporting one another for both yourself/ family and your loved one. I had originally entered Mother in Memory Care(Bridges)in December . We have now moved to Skilled Care at Stapeley. The staff there already feels like extended family! I could not have made a better choice than Stapeley!!!

review of visit

The physical facilities are attractive and senior friendly (i.e. outlets higher up on walls, not floor level). Most impressive, however, was the friendliness of the residents and the many activities offered --- something for everyone, no matter the interest. Of the places I've visited so far this is the nicest.

Feel Safe Knowing Your Loved One is in a Good Community

This is a great place to go. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The friendliness of the staff and the apartments are very nice. The staff are easy and helpful to work with if there are questions or concerns. The food is good for my loved one. There are staffing shortages in the dining room due to the pandemic. Some of the activities available include shopping trips, movies, crafts, resident committees, and more for the residents to choose from.

The facility is attractive from the outside- it has seasonal flowers and plants with several areas for people to sit or walk outside. It is clean- the staff is helpful if I have questions when I visit. My mother likes it there and says that the food is good.

Perfect fit

Wesley Enhanced Living is so lovely, our loved one is enjoying everything about it especially the socialization. Her apartment is very roomy it is a large on bedroom with a patio. Also she loves the ease of getting around and the ability to walk. She is getting all the attention she should be getting, always being checked on and always made comfortable. i

Excellent care for my 93 year old mom

The staff on the second floor for Personal care treat her as though she is a family member which helps me a lot because I am the only local family she has and she really loves some of her helpers! They are really caring and wonderful. She was in another place initially and she hated it there and I was so glad to find WEL because she has a beautiful apartment and a much easier life than even when she lived alone in NY.

A Great Home for my Parents

My parents moved into WEL Main Line after a stay for both of them (different reasons) in the rehab section. While there, they toured the community and were impressed with the friendliness (everybody knows your name!), the great food, the ambience, and the affordability. They moved into an apartment a month later! After two years, my mother declined and eventually moved into skilled nursing and my father was able to visit her daily. The "tram" - similar to golf carts - brought him back and forth. Since she passed, my father has maintained his independent apartment where he turned 100 this year. The Facility did a remarkable one-year renovation that turned the shared spaces into a showplace. My father asked me to say, "This place is great. They did a terrific job when they renovated most of the place and tried to bother us a little as possible. It's really beautiful. The food is like a restaurant. [name removed] made sure we all got our Covid vaccines in the right order." The Covid pandemic has been rough for long term care facilities, and the WEL community is no exception. The true exception has been the care, kindness, concern, detailed planning and transparent management and communication which were all we could hope for.

Safest Place for My Mom

I moved my mom to WEL Stapeley 5 years ago. She is in Personal Care. The staff have been the best! I have been kept well informed of my mother's care and any recommendations from her doctor. She is comfortable and well cared for. Over the 5 years her physical health and cognitive skills have declined but the staff have been able to provide for her. I am at peace knowing my mom is happy and well. Even during the COVID restrictions, I have been kept informed about the numbers of facility staff and residents effected by the virus and the precautions taken. Although we could not visit in person, the staff made sure I could FaceTime or Zoom with my mom weekly.

Top rating for Caring, Comfort, Communication

Wesley Main Line’s staff genuinely cares about their residents. The newly renovated facility, formally Martin’s Run, has an outstanding executive director, activities director, health professionals, kitchen, office support and transportation. During these unprecedented times, residents and loved ones have been kept informed of health updates and highlights are always shared in real time. I am so grateful for the recent vaccination clinics and how special the staff made it for my mother. Thank you!

Successful transition to Memory Care at Stapeley Bridges unit

Its been about a month since we moved my mother into the Stapeley facility of Wesley Enhanced Living and my siblings and I are a very pleased. Mom's declining memory and other cognitive skills required a transition to a facility with expertise in memory care issues. The move from personal care at another Wesley residence to the Bridges unit at Stapeley was seamless. Patrick and his team helped my mom stay calm and eased her anxiety about moving to a new home. My mom has been much more active and is benefitting from a more structured daily routine. She even loves the food! Mom's journey continues in a safe and caring environment.

My review of Wesley Enhanced Senior Living

We chose this Wesley Enhanced Senior Living because we liked the location and the facility itself, it is very pretty with a lot of plants. The room sizes here are decent and they are nice. One of the other things that actually drew us to the facility was the activities that they provided pre-COVID. They also seem to have nice activity rooms. I would recommend.

Our family can’t say enough good things about Wesley Enhanced Living. My mom and Dad needing to move, we went everywhere in a 10 mile radius so that we could be close to them. Most of the places were either over priced or just plain horrible. We called [name removed] eat Wesley and she met with us the next day! It is a beautiful space with lots of light and the staff and residents are so friendly! To top the excellent experience my parents moved in in March 2020, yes during COVID, Wesley was so careful and well prepared. My parents of course had to be quarantined, but they never felt like it the staff took care of everything from bringing them their delicious meals everyday to even taking out their trash. My parents have now been at Wesley Willow Grove/Hatboro for 6 months now, the community is still COVID free and my parents have never looked better. They are so happy and finally relaxed. Their long time neighbor from the house even moved into Wesley as well and is loving it. Thank you Wesley for all you do!
