Ive had the best experience with Sodalis my grandmother lives there and i couldn't of picked a better community for her to live in. The staff is amazing they are always loving on grandma and making sure she is well taken care of. They are always planning music and singing to her. My grandmother is at the end stages of Alzheimers's and the engagement is geared around the different needs of the residents which is so awesome. The management team is amazing also they are always keep me updated with her care and they are always there to answer question. I would highly recommend Sodalis for your loved one.

Safe, secure welcoming facility. My friend lives here - there is no immediate family in the area. He does receive visits from friends almost daily. Visitors are welcomed and included in activities. He receives personal attention all day, everyday from a caring staff. He is always encouraged to be involved in activities. Each morning he is dressed and ready for breakfast. He remains up, dressed and involved until bedtime.

My mother has lived there for about 1 1/2 years. She used to love the deer that would come up to watch, they do not come as often now. But she still loves to watch the birds, the squirrels, and hummingbirds. The staff is very sweet to her, the cooks are all wonderful. You can always smell something good cooking. It feels like home to her.

My dad lived here for several years. He had great care, even improved over the nursing facility he was in prior to this. The love he received at Sodalis is something money can't buy. The staff loved him and he loved them, very comforting for the family.

Thank you to all the staff at Sodalis for caring for my father during this difficult time in his life! My father has been in this community for almost a year and with his dementia progressing we didnt know what to do. We went over to Sodalis and felt so comfortable and the staff were so kind! My dad actually enjoys going out and playing the games and doing the activities which we never thought he would! Again thank you to the Sodalis caregivers and staff for caring for our father!

My Dad moved to Sodalis after he spent 1 month at a behavioral hospital after an alleged suicide attempt. No other nursing home would take him straight from a behavioral hospital. Except Sodalis!!! Dad thrived there. The place was awesome. They were extremely nice and wonderful. They had activities all the time to keep the residents engaged. Its very small and that makes it very cozy and home-like. I would definitely recommend Sodalis.

Our mother has lived at Sodalis Rock Street for 17 months. The staff are wonderful, very loving, caring, and patient. Every time we come in to the house, it is clean and smells good. There are activities and residents are encouraged to be out of their bedrooms and in the "living room area". The beautifully kept "back yard" affords residents the ability to sit outside in the shade or sunshine to see birds, plants, and flowers. Beautiful! She has had the best care she could possibly have here. She has dementia and can sometimes be challenging because of her medical situation. We thank the staff from the bottom of our hearts for their professional care and love for our mom. We know it is a hard decision where to place a loved one, and we are so thankful for everyone at Sodalis!

Sodalis Waco so far is a good fit for our loved one. It has a very warm and homey feel. The staff is very friendly and caring and attentive to my dad. The home is very clean and well-kept. The landscaping is very well-maintained and looks beautiful and inviting. I live quite a distance away but from everything I've been hearing everything is going well. It had a very good feeling of the residents being well taken care of, that is why we chose Sodalis Waco for our loved one. I would recommend this community to friends and family.

[Removed]has been a resident since April 14th. Staff made her transition to residential living easier than could be expected. Sodalis is exclusively a memory care facility and it shows in how well they work with residents. As a smaller company they seem to value every resident as a person, not just a source of revenue. The facility director is excellent, balancing business issues with personal concerns. Staff is very good, working with even stage 4 dementia issues. Highly recommend the facility for anyone with a Alzheimer or Dementia family member. We toured two other recommended facilities. Both were good, one more and one less expensive.

I like the care for my jusband at this community. We have found that the staff are very caring and friendly to our needs. The community is clean, but at times needs some small improvements. The menu is appealing witl alot of choices. They do have activities and he does like to participate in the smaller activities. I am happy with his care and would recommend the care and the value of this new staff to others .

My mother-in-law is now a full-time resident of Sodalis Temple after two respite stays. We originally sought care for her during a planned family vacation, and had no intention of placing her in long-term care. However, she did so well at Sodalis that we were astonished. She actually did not want to leave and became very fond of her friends there, including the members of the staff who are very friendly and professional. My loved one is a very active, physically healthy 72-year old who suffers from moderately severe Alzheimer's and most of the normal cognitive impairments to be expected at this stage of her disease. She is still extremely independent and thrives on being able to help others, and Sodalis allows her to do this while making sure she and others are safe and well-cared-for. We did not imagine that we would let go of her without a major physical or mental event happening, but when we saw how positively she responded to the activities and opportunities for interaction at Sodalis, we quickly became convinced that this was the best environment for her. She may not have many years left to enjoy her independence and active lifestyle, and we want to make sure that whether she wakes up at 3 a.m. and wants company or wants to spend all day outside weeding the courtyard, or simply wants to sit with friends giving backrubs and hand massages (as she has done all her adult life for her husband who just recently passed away), she has the opportunity to do those things. She is loved and appreciated for exactly the little ball of love and fire she is. We couldn't be happier. I have visited many times unnounced at various times of the day and evening and have never seen or heard anything that has concerned me about this facility. We put them through a pretty rigorous vetting process (as we vetted three other memory care facilities in the area as well before choosing Sodalis) so we are very familiar with their capabilities and policies. Our loved one is very content at Sodalis. We were concerned that she would immediately want to leave (as she has often wanted to leave our house to go "home," which no longer exists) but she has never once asked us to take her home when we have visited there or taken her out for doctor's visits, shopping, or family meals. We are so grateful for Sodalis. Their staff is warm and I have spoken with many residents--none have had a negative thing to say about the care they have received there. We have a number of family friends whose loved ones have lived at Sodalis for a number of years and the feedback has been uniformly positive. Highly recommended.

The staff at Sodalis Rock St. genuinely care for their patients. They promptly answer any questions I may have, and keep me up to date on any special needs. I truly feel that my dad is in the best place available. I am very grateful to "A Place For Mom" for helping me find a place within our price range. Mary [removed] practically held my hand as she guided me through the process of selecting and viewing a good community, and getting Veterans Assistance set up, as well.

I visited Sodalis three times before deciding to place my mother. Each time I visited it was at a different time of day. The home always smelled clean and usually had the smell of home cooking. The residents clean, dressed and usually involved in some type of activity. The staff did not appear over worked and they were very engaged with the patients. The whole place, staff, and people gave it a homey feel.
