The Pointe has been a wonderful place for my parents! The staff don't turn over often and are very kind and loving with the residents. They truly care and keep us informed of anything going on. [name removed] (front desk) is wonderful. [name removed] (director) also great. [name removed] (PT) is awesome. [name removed] (nurse) wonderful! I love the Pointe!
My loved one lives here and it's wonderful! So much better and more affordable than his last facility. The people here are wonderful. The nurses are so kind and helpful. They have a lot of activities and the residents are interactive. The staff encourages them to be. The memory care unit is a smaller unit and only 20 residents, which is great. I would recommend them to friends and family.
It's a very nice place for someone with dementia, which my aunt had. My uncle died within a week of arriving there and my aunt fell about 2 months later and fractured her hip, so she left there and passed away in a rehab facility post surgery. I really appreciated A Place for Mom's help in finding a place.

A nursing home is an establishment that provides residence to two or more persons who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. This type of residence provides its residents with around-the-clock care administered by registered nurses. These caregivers offer healthcare services for people who are unable to take care of their needs.

The most common mental condition effecting nursing home residents is dementia, which can hinder their memory recall, decision making capacities, and and their sense of familiarity. Nursing homes are required to provide specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), pharmaceutical services, dietary services, and emergency dental services to residents. Types of amenities and servicesoffered at nursing homes might include adult day services , friendly visitor programs, rehabilitation needed due to injury, disability, or illness, and patient and caregiver education. A large number of nursing home occupants are seniors who require assistance with daily tasks such as bathing, experience difficulty with hearing and vision, have incontinence issues, or have mental or physical disabilities.
