From our first visit to the facility, I have been impressed. The staff is extremely kind and accommodating. The building is very clean and well kept. "Change" for my mom can be challenging, but the staff has handled it all with Grace. We are very pleased to have mom mom reside at Amber Park
I think there were some initial communication steps we had to get worked out. Some things didn't get done initially. And I think they have some short-staffing issues, especially on weekends,. But I think they're trying, and they're being responsive to my concerns. It's just something you have to pay attention to as the resident or families of residents. Cost is comparable to other places we looked at.
My family and my Mom had a great experience at Sunrise of Gahanna. Sadly, Mom passed last July; but, the care she received while there was amazing. I also am impressed that the staff is trained on the many effects of dementia; and, the ways in which to handle each without upsetting the resident. The staff is very loving and caring. I would highly recommend them.
