Heritage at Irene Woods in Memphis, TN

It was a good value compared to others. People were really friendly. I would tell a friend that so far we like the place. It is clean bright and cheery. I would also tell them that I have concerns about the number of upper level staff that are leaving. Almost everyone I interacted with at the beginning have suddenly left.

Olive Grove Terrace and Arbors at Olive Grove in Olive Branch, MS
5.0

Everything has worked out very well with our loved ones move to Olive Grove Terrace & Arbors at Olive Grove. We are very pleased with the care that they have provided to my loved one. They have done very well keeping the family updated with her care needs. The community is a little older and more expensive than the new community our loved one was at. However, our loved one is now receiving the best care possible. They offer a very safe community and they provide an ankle bracelet to ensure my loved one does not wander off.

Nursing Homes

A nursing home is a building that offers lodging to two or more individuals who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. This type of complex provides its occupants with 24-hour care administered by on-site nurses. These caregivers provide health related services for those who are unable to take care of themselves.

This type of facility is a familiar and comfy living option for individuals 65 years and above, however nursing homes will frequently allow persons 55 and greater (a rarity in the realm of senior care).A significant amount of inhabitants tend to be single women who have less social support, and about fifty percent of nursing home residents are over the age of 85. Some services come at an extra cost which can include special care services not included in the facility’s Medicaid payment, personal reading materials, and cosmetic and grooming items. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to get proper medical care, exercise your rights as a U.S. citizen, get information on services and fees, and make complaints. Many occupants of nursing homes are individuals with behavioral issues. These can consist of resisting assistance, verbal outbursts, or a tendency to wander. Types of amenities and servicesprovided at nursing homes might include room and board, adult day services , intravenous or nutrition therapy, and home care (like cooking, cleaning, or help with other daily activities).
