Harmony Place

It's a pretty good place. Ifel like, we got our moneys worth. My loved one is in the memory care unit, and they went from six to ten residents, which is still a pretty small group. They do a pretty good job, for what they have to deal with, especially since it's dementia patients. I am very impressed at how they do their job. Overall, I would highly recommend this place.

The facility and staff are wonderful. Our problem came with getting my parents to reach out to them when they needed something. They are to used to doing for themselves. Staff has been very good at checking in and encouraging them to ask for help when they need it. They raised prices a couple months after they got moved in. I understand cost are rising. But kind of messed up the budget.

Arlington Place at Oelwein

My brother and I were looking for an alternative living for our parents. They were doing well on their own but with neither of us living in town we were concerned about what would happen when they could no longer drive. The townhouse at Arlington Place fit the bill. They are independent but it gives us peace knowing that if a problem arises that help is close by. Twice they have used their Life Alert and had immediate help. The townhouse is nice. Our only concern is that the kitchen cupboards aren't easy to access. Our parents eat a meal at Arlington Place so they are not cooking much. We are happy that they no longer have to worry about maintaining a home. We feel that this has been a positive move for our parents.
