We picked this community, because of the price, straight forward agreement- no extra fees, newness, and it was close to home/convenience. I would tell friends/family that I like that it's new and updated so my loved one doesn't feel like she got stuck in an "old folks home". The agreement/fees are better than most others and the basic staff is fun and friendly. Ownership, and management can improve by being more responsive.
We love the staff and living situation for my 2 elderly parents at Golden Orchard, Finding this lovely group home was a Blessing for us. My Dad and Mom are well taken care of in every way. Such a huge difference in how well my parents are doing in this very caring group home environment!. Food is great, staff is loving and helpful...my parent's feel so loved and cared for here. I highly recommend if you have elderly parent's or loved ones needing one on one special loving care as they go through the challenges of aging....check out Golden Orchard group homes you will be so happy that you did... I would recommend this facility. The only things I would comment on are; 1) l think they were a little under staffed, especially on weekends; and 2) they need to figure out a better system to handle laundry (my mom's laundry was lost). Overall, my experience at Brookdale Littleton was pretty good.
