The values and concerns that the staff have for the residents are consistent and positive. Often they go the extra mile to help me. My room is very well laid out and complete in what it offers. I'm a very social person and I appreciate the ability to engage with so many of the residents and staff. Living at Hawks Ridge does not limit me to pursue my favorite community interests.
Parkhurst I feel good about this facility. I get frustrated once in a while but who doesn’t because at the end of the day I think it’s great place to live and the care staff take good care of me. I enjoy living here.
My mom loves it so much that she's selling her other place and staying here year round. The staff are responsive and caring. They fix things that need to be fixed. They go out of their way to make life there good for everyone. The people there love the place and you never hear any complaints. There is a cute dog at the front desk who stands at the counter and greets you. There is house keeping once a week and they do linens and towels for you. The Activity Director is fantastic and does many different things that appeal to all types and abilities from Bingo, movies, exercise classes, writing and singing groups, bridge games, hiking, outings and concerts both in and out of the place. There are garden plots for those who like to grow things and it's in a great location near medical care, a bank, senior center and supermarket within a couple of blocks. The grounds are beautiful and the variety of apartments is varied. Lots of art everywhere in the building is encouraged. I could go on. Love the place!!
