Treeo South Ogden
5.0

Mom is doing well here, she has a nice apt and she has brought her own furniture so it feels more like home for her. The community is very nice and the staff is friendly. Mom has even started taking part in the activities and the field trips plus she enjoys going to the dining room with the other residents and the food is good too. I would definitely recommend scheduling a tour here so you can see the community first hand.

BeeHive Homes of Syracuse

I think they do an outstanding job here at BeeHive Homes. We hose it because it was a smaller facility, the location was good for us, and the staff members are just incredible. They love my mom and take great care of her and are always attentive. I would encourage others to definitely check this place out, it is great.

Independent Living

For many seniors, cost of owning a home might deter them from living an independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities offer a great remedy to this situation. Basic chores such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is maintained, allowing residents an opportunity to use their time as they wish, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Residents’ quarters consist of a private living space with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to socialize with guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between locations, a number of residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing care is desired, residents may always utilize the services of private care providers. There are a number of costs and advantages to consider while determining an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are covered in the care plan: move-in fee, meals, field trips, private phone, utilities, housekeeping, internet access, and transportation. The conveniences associated with independent living include security guards, healthcare center, restaurant-style dining hall, community activities, concierge services, fitness center & swimming pool, game/TV room, and beauty salon & barber shop.
