I love my apartment and I have my furry friend with me. My Apt consists of a kitchenette with loads of storage and sufficient counter space. It has a living room off the kitchenette where I have room for a fold down table, 2 chairs to put at the table, and a futon which is my sofa. My TV is huge and sits on 2 large boxes consisting of 18 openings which hold an assortment of books, family photos, and my late daughter's dolls, mostly Barbies. It is a lovely area. From that you enter a good sized bedroom with a walk-in closet. I have my dog's bed in there. His kennel is under the large bedroom windows. He has a choice of where he prefers to sleep, usually choosing the bed in the closet. Off the bedroom is a full bathroom. The shower is large enough to put a chair in which makes me feel so much safer. There is quite a bit of storage space under the sink counter with a full size mirror and a small cabinet over the toilet for toilet paper and assorted towels.

The staff is very helpful. The location is great. Right across the street, there's a shopping center that has food, home improvement, restaurants, banks, gas - pretty much anything you would need, which is very convenient. The place is basically new, so the apartment is very nice. And it's a great place to call home.

We have had Mom at Morada for a few months. From the beginning the staff has been helpful and kind. The ambience really suits my mother, and my sisters and I are pleased with our choice of assisted living for her.

This small but growing suburban community on the southern edge of the Dallas–Fort Worth area offers a quiet retirement at a safe distance from the big-city congestion and high living costs of the metropolis to the north.

This usually means residents are self-sufficient and do not require hands-on care. Think of Red Oak retirement communities as age-restricted (typically 55+) complexes, which provide organized activities, meal services, and transportation.
