Stoney Brook of Copperas Cove

Memory care needs more activity and some things like soap, wipes, toilet paper depends should be provided for the price charged. I really like the staff, they are all wonderful with all the patients. I would like to see a more upscale dining area like the assisted living area.

Sodalis Temple
5.0

We moved my father into Sodalis Temple last Summer. We chose it because it was more like home. The staff is very kind. They take care of his needs, and they're very helpful. They're just great. We have no problem at all with the food, and he's been eating well. For activities, they take him for walks, they have crafts and Bingo, and they keep him very active. I would recommend them because they're family oriented; they treat you like family.

Stoney Brook of Belton
4.9

We are very happy with the care our loved one is receiving from the staff here - she is being well looked after and they keep up with the bathing routine. We are not all that thrilled with the meals but our loved one just changed to a pureed diet so that could be why. They have plenty of activities going on and they are very good about bringing the residents over to the community center. Based on our experience so far we have already recommend Stoney Brook to other families and we will continue to do so.

Independent Living

For many seniors, the financial burden of home ownership might be a deterrent to living an independent life. Independent Living Communities provide a good solution to this situation. Daily needs such as the scheduling of social activities and housekeeping are taken care of, which permits occupants more opportunities to live active lives as they wish. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and interests. Residents’ quarters consist of a private living space with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies vary between locations, numerous residences allow cats and dogs as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with private care providers if desired. There are a variety of advantages and costs to keep in mind when determining an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are covered in the plan: field trips, cable TV, utilities, internet access, housekeeping, private phone, move-in fee, and meals. The benefits that pertain to independent living include security guards, beauty salon & barber shop, laundry service, transportation, restaurant-style dining hall, fitness center & swimming pool, private rental hall, and healthcare center.
