I had a very positive experience when I helped my friend relocate to Bayside Terrace. The marketing director was very friendly and helpful. She showed me the room which was available and answered all of my questions and we coordinated a move in date. All of the staff I met were also very friendly and helpful. We were able to make the move pretty quickly and easily. My friend is very happy there and all of his needs are being met.

Independent Living

If you or your loved one would benefit from the convenience of having your chores taken care of by professionalls while living the way you want, you might want to consider an Independent Living Community. Frequent needs such as the scheduling of social activities and housekeeping are accounted for, which provides seniors more free time to live active lives as they desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they prefer. While policies vary between locations, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. Nursing and health care services can always be arranged for with independent care providers if desired. There are an assortment of expenses and advantages to balance while determining an independent living community. It is important to learn if these services are covered in the care plan: wellness program, utilities, transportation, housekeeping, Waiting list deposit, field trips, cable TV, and parking. The benefits and amenities that pertain to independent living include restaurant-style dining hall, game/TV room, fitness center & swimming pool, concierge services, healthcare center, laundry service, community activities, and beauty salon & barber shop.
