Very clean and nice looking apartments. It is owned by the Southern Baptist and has a strong Christian environment. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, both the employees and residence. [Name removed], the manager has worked there for many years and is truly called to this job. He goes above and beyond helping residents doing everything from hanging pictures to driving them to doctor appointments. [Name removed] is an employee has worked there over 40 years and lives on site. She is often called to an apartment to help, even in the middle of the night. It is a beautiful place to live.

Our experience thus far would indicate they've had some issues with staffing, leaving them short handed at times but overall care has been good. My folks are 95 and 94 years of age so activities are not necessarily of great interest. I know long term care is not inexpensive and certainly not quality care but it is expensive and of concern for my parents. I think likely normal movement by staff looking to better their pay, hours, etc.

Silver Creek & Arbors has a super and sweet staff, the care is super, I just wish it was closer, but it is still a great location that is easy to get to. They have great outdoor spaces, there's plenty for my loved one to do, but she can also be in her room as well with the TV and computer. It's like her whole house is in one room! She has a phone she can use to call friends, and she is also able to call the staff quickly. She fell recently and within 3 minutes after falling, the staff was there, she couldn't believe how fast they were! The doctor even checked her out after she fell and started her on rehab for her knee, and the rehabilitation staff is great. As far as other things they keep track of her blood sugar 3 times a day, she bathes regularly, and is able to get her hair done, and was able to get things like a trim as needed. They know what they're doing there, and I think it's the best place she could possibly be in.
