My father in law is doing okay here at this community, he is still adjusting, but they are caring for him well. We do feel comfortable with his move to this community, it is a nice place. [Removed] is amazing. She was great to work with, she was very helpful, and understanding. The front desk receptionist isn't very pleasant, but the rest of the staff is very kind, and helpful. His room is well maintained when we visit, but the guest restroom could be better maintained. They have been very accommodating, and this is a community I would recommend.
I received helpful and friendly service from both the staff and administration. The facility is clean and secure, the grounds are well kept, there are numerous activities and services available on premises, and free bus service to local businesses. For independent living, it's a very good fit for my 90 year old parents. Age-in-place assisted living options are available if and when necessary, as well.
My mom is currently a resident at The Chelsea at Greenburgh and everything has been great for her so far. I would recommend The Chelsea to others.

If you would benefit from the peace of mind of having your chores taken care of by professionalls while living the way you wish, you might consider the option of independent living. Residents can use their free time as they see fit while their food is cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and social activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they prefer. While policies vary between communities, a number of residences allow pets as well. If residents decide they would like to utilize the services of private health care providers, they may always do so. There are a number of benefits and expenses to keep in mind when choosing an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are covered in the service plan: utilities, laundry, initial assessment fee, cable TV, meals, field trips, parking, and housekeeping. The luxuries associated with independent living include private rental hall, fitness center & swimming pool, concierge services, healthcare center, security guards, golf course, laundry service, and game/TV room.
