The Bristal at East Northport
4.5

The staff at the East Northport Bristal is always kind. They always have a smile on their faces and are genuinely sweet and loving to my mom. The facility is ALWAYS spotless and beautiful to live in or visit. The only area I see occasional improvement for is the food. It is not always hot and more fresh veggies needed. The personal care and overall facility is excellent.

Dix Hills, New York

Independent Living

An Independent Living Community allows residents the chance to live active lives while ensuring their fundamental needs are met. Occupants may continue to live their lives as they wish while their food is prepared by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and recreational activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Typically comprised of a private living area and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way. While policies vary between communities, numerous residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always enlist the services of independent caregivers. There are a number of costs and advantages to keep in mind when selecting an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are covered in your care plan: parking, move-in fee, cable TV, utilities, private phone, Waiting list deposit, laundry, and wellness program. The amenities associated with independent living include fitness center & swimming pool, security guards, transportation, golf course, restaurant-style dining hall, game/TV room, concierge services, and beauty salon & barber shop.
