Amazing Facility and incredible Staff. I am so happy I chose this Facility for my Mom who enjoys living here. The staff is amazing and always available for help and are so caring. [name removed] the Administrator cares very much for her residents and has helped me anytime I have an issue. Her concern for my Moms well being as well as the other residents is very comforting. I don’t have to worry about Mom now as I know she is well taking care of and Happy. Thank all for you for the Love and Care you give my Mom.

Brookdale Hattiesburg Assisted Living
4.8 / 5.0

The staff at the Brookdale Hattiesburg I was amazing. The friendliness and special attention given to each resident at this community made the decision to choose this place so much easier. The meals are all prepared very good with correct portions and very nutritious. The complex offers a range of activities and even asks the residents for their input on what new activities they would like to add! The cleanliness is very good overall but the maintenance could use some improvement with the cleaning of the bathrooms.

I moved my mom into this community for good care. I am not happy that they moved her into another room and did not infor us. She is happy that the community is clean. She seems to be happy with the meals. They do offer her activities, but she is not active. I would not recommend this community myself.. Other families might consider this community when looking for care for a loved one.

The experience was good and my loved one was happy. We picked this community, because my loved one knew other residents. She has had a stroke so she's not there any longer. They did a really good job.

Independent Living

For many seniors, cost of owning a home and the maintenance of daily tasks and chores might be a deterrent to enjoying an otherwise independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities offer a good remedy. Meals, leisure activities andhousekeeping are taken care of while you are able to use your time as you desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of a private living space with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to socialize with guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between communities, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of independent health care providers, they always have the option. There are a variety of expenditures and advantages to keep in mind while choosing an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are included in your care plan: utilities, housekeeping, move-in fee, initial assessment fee, field trips, transportation, meals, and Waiting list deposit. The benefits and amenities associated with independent living include beauty salon & barber shop, restaurant-style dining hall, laundry service, fitness center & swimming pool, game/TV room, community activities, private rental hall, and transportation.
