Brookdale Hattiesburg Assisted Living

The staff at the Brookdale Hattiesburg I was amazing. The friendliness and special attention given to each resident at this community made the decision to choose this place so much easier. The meals are all prepared very good with correct portions and very nutritious. The complex offers a range of activities and even asks the residents for their input on what new activities they would like to add! The cleanliness is very good overall but the maintenance could use some improvement with the cleaning of the bathrooms.

I moved my mom into this community for good care. I am not happy that they moved her into another room and did not infor us. She is happy that the community is clean. She seems to be happy with the meals. They do offer her activities, but she is not active. I would not recommend this community myself.. Other families might consider this community when looking for care for a loved one.

We had a good experience with the assisted living side of Provision Living. My loved one ended up needing more care than we were able to afford, but other than that everything was just fine.

Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Independent Living

For many seniors, cost of owning a home and the upkeep of the property might be a deterrent to living an independent life. Independent Living Communities offer a convenient alternative. Daily needs such as the scheduling of social activities and housekeeping are taken care of, which permits residents more opportunities to live active lives as they desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of a private living space with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies vary between communities, numerous residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing care is desired, residents may always enlist the services of private health care professionalls. There are a number of benefits and expenditures to consider while determining an independent living community. It is important to learn if these amenities are covered in the service plan: Waiting list deposit, move-in fee, housekeeping, parking, transportation, field trips, cable TV, and wellness program. The luxuries associated with independent living include healthcare center, fitness center & swimming pool, game/TV room, community activities, golf course, security guards, concierge services, and transportation.
