My husband's respite stay here went very well, the staff was friendly attentive and they encouraged him to be a part the different amenities that were offered there. His room was very nice and my husband was free to move about the community, there was a nice courtyard and he felt comfortable here. I would recommend scheduling a tour of this community.
I have just placed my Wife into Covenant Glen in Frankenmuth. The process was quite smooth, but also I needed to be patient, a hard thing for me to do..But the administration & staff at this place is top notch. The Exec. Director & I had spoke on the phone several times, and I also worked with "The Alissa's".. a very good experience. I moved my wife from a failing facility to a much better place with more STUFF & for less money. The monthly fees are very competitive.. I know I've done my homework & have a LTC policy on my wife... I have no reservations about placing wife in the CARE of Covenant Glen.. Thank Goodness for Good People... [Removed]
I have had a wonderful experience while having my father at The Oaks. I am at the facility daily, and the staff have all been AMAZING! The nurses and aides are compassionate toward my father and the family, acitivites are offered throughout the entire day, food is great. The residents all seem very happy and staff the same. We heard about this place in the community and have not been disappointed.

Independent living offers a stress-free lifestyle for older adults. Independent living communities don’t provide personal care or supervision, but do offer generally healthy adults opportunities for socialization and hassle-free living. Independent living services often include:
An Independent Living Community allows residents the chance to live active lives while ensuring their care requirements are being met. Basic chores such as meal planning and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is provided, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they wish, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to a private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they prefer. While policies vary between locations, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing support is desired, residents may always utilize the services of private caregivers. There are an assortment of benefits and expenses to consider while determining an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are included in the plan: wellness program, laundry, private phone, meals, cable TV, move-in fee, Waiting list deposit, and field trips. The benefits that pertain to independent living include private rental hall, healthcare center, golf course, fitness center & swimming pool, security guards, laundry service, concierge services, and beauty salon & barber shop.
