The staff are so nice and friendly! Very caring and take great care of my uncle! They are always smiling and take such good care of my auntie [name removed]! She enjoys BINGO and their BBQ days! She likes her room just wants a better view! I would recommend this building to anyone in the Mt Pleasant area!
My mother lived in the memory care unit here and we had a great overall experience with them. I was a little concerned with the level of attentiveness of the staff at times. For example, she needs someone to provide water/drinks for her and give her the initiative to drink it, otherwise she will go without. At times she was a bit dehydrated. Otherwise, the community is fabulous! It is very nice, open, and colorful with lots of windows -- a great atmosphere. It is not drab or hospital-like at all. It is a relatively new community, so they are still growing. I would say it would be a great place to go!
The owner is very nice and kind. This is a nice small place for your loved one if this is what you are looking for. It is quiet and it is a lovely small place to look into. I would recommend this community for you or your loved one. So far so good, it took a while for my loved one to transition but now things are going well. They have a wonderful pastor that comes and visits the residents which I love.

Many seniors may be physically and mentally able to live without assistance, but the burden of home ownership and the maintenance of daily tasks and chores might deter them from an independent life. Independent Living Communities offer a convenient remedy to this situation. Frequent needs such as housekeeping and the scheduling of social activities are accounted for, allowing residents more opportunities to live their lives as they desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they prefer. While policies vary between communities, a number of residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services can always be arranged for with independent care providers if desired. There are a variety of benefits and expenses to balance while choosing an independent living community. It is important to learn if these amenities are included in the plan: cable TV, field trips, initial assessment fee, wellness program, housekeeping, transportation, private phone, and utilities. The benefits that pertain to independent living include laundry service, golf course, restaurant-style dining hall, healthcare center, concierge services, beauty salon & barber shop, transportation, and fitness center & swimming pool.
