Mt Pleasant Comfort Care in Mount Pleasant, MI

The staff are so nice and friendly! Very caring and take great care of my uncle! They are always smiling and take such good care of my auntie [name removed]! She enjoys BINGO and their BBQ days! She likes her room just wants a better view! I would recommend this building to anyone in the Mt Pleasant area!

Green Acres of Mt. Pleasant in Mount Pleasant, MI
4.5

My mother lived in the memory care unit here and we had a great overall experience with them. I was a little concerned with the level of attentiveness of the staff at times. For example, she needs someone to provide water/drinks for her and give her the initiative to drink it, otherwise she will go without. At times she was a bit dehydrated. Otherwise, the community is fabulous! It is very nice, open, and colorful with lots of windows -- a great atmosphere. It is not drab or hospital-like at all. It is a relatively new community, so they are still growing. I would say it would be a great place to go!

Margaret's Meadows in Remus, MI

The owner is very nice and kind. This is a nice small place for your loved one if this is what you are looking for. It is quiet and it is a lovely small place to look into. I would recommend this community for you or your loved one. So far so good, it took a while for my loved one to transition but now things are going well. They have a wonderful pastor that comes and visits the residents which I love.

Independent Living

If you want the convenience of having many of your frequent tasks taken care of by professionalls while living life at your own pace, you might want to consider independent living. Food preparation, recreational activities and housekeeping responsibilities are handled for you while you are able to use your time as you prefer. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and interests. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering opportunities to socialize with guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between locations, numerous residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always utilize the services of independent caregivers. It is important to figure out if these services are included in your plan: housekeeping, private phone, cable TV, wellness program, initial assessment fee, meals, laundry, and move-in fee.
