Cascade Heights in Longwood, FL
5.0

Cascade Heights is a great place! 25 years from now if it is still good, we may have to go here! The staff is super friendly and awesome Just walking around the place. You can see all of the people that live there seem very happy. The apartments are fabulous, full kitchen. His mom actually has the two bedroom. She turned one of the rooms into a dining room, which looks great a screened in porch patio on a third floor new appliances, stainless steel plenty of closet space everywhere. The place feels more like a resort than assisted-living. The full apartments are fabulous. Plenty of space storage and a full kitchen so many activities happy hours, music live music we can't say good things. And his mom loves the food which was a complaint at her her previous place in Ocala plus she didn't have even a kitchenette let alone full kitchen and she's paying $[removed] less here for more than double the space and so many more amenities

Independent Living

For many seniors, the cost burden of home ownership might be a deterrent to living an independent life. Independent Living Communities offer a solid solution. Residents can continue to live their lives as they see fit while their meals are cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and social activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they prefer. While policies vary between locations, a number of residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always utilize the services of independent care providers. There are an assortment of expenses and advantages to consider when selecting an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are included in the care plan: Waiting list deposit, field trips, housekeeping, internet access, laundry, private phone, wellness program, and cable TV. The luxuries associated with independent living include healthcare center, fitness center & swimming pool, concierge services, game/TV room, security guards, community activities, golf course, and private rental hall.
