What we like the most about the Prestige Assisted Living community are the staff members. The staff team there are nice and we do really like the apartments and rooms they have for the residents. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Arroyo Gardens in Green Valley, AZ
4.9

During Covid I was unable to fly from out of state to visit my uncle who has just arrived at Arroyo Gardens sight unseen. I could tell he was content and happy shortly after he arrived. The entire staff was friendly, accommodating, professional, and communicated with me constantly during those first months when traveling wasn’t allowed. The food is excellent and meals well balanced and daily choices on the menu have a lot of variety. The staff is very concerned about the health and well being of their residents and he has made improvements during his time there. Upon visiting the facility I found it to be better than I imagined and was impressed with the layout, the cleanliness, and the concern of the staff had for him. The owners always seem to be making improvements and reinvesting in the maintenance of the facility. Im forever grateful for the care the staff has shown my uncle over the years and he continues to enjoy his time at Arroyo Gardens.

Green Valley, Arizona

Independent Living

Many seniors may be physically and mentally able to live without assistance, but the cost burden of home ownership and the upkeep of the property might deter them from an independent life. Independent Living Communities provide a good alternative. Occupants may live their lives as they wish while their food is cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and recreational activities are scheduled and organized. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to a private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they choose. While policies vary between locations, a number of residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing support is desired, residents may always utilize the services of independent care providers. There are a variety of benefits and costs to keep in mind while selecting an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are covered in the care plan: move-in fee, parking, Waiting list deposit, cable TV, utilities, initial assessment fee, field trips, and private phone. The amenities associated with independent living include private rental hall, concierge services, golf course, restaurant-style dining hall, security guards, fitness center & swimming pool, community activities, and transportation.
