Arroyo Gardens

My dad chose Arroyo Gardens for independent living because the staff were friendly and he liked the layout of his apartment. He made a great choice! He loves the food, he walks downstairs everyday for the menu options in the dining hall. I like the feeling it gives me to know that people are looking after him when I can't be there.

During Covid I was unable to fly from out of state to visit my uncle who has just arrived at Arroyo Gardens sight unseen. I could tell he was content and happy shortly after he arrived. The entire staff was friendly, accommodating, professional, and communicated with me constantly during those first months when traveling wasn’t allowed. The food is excellent and meals well balanced and daily choices on the menu have a lot of variety. The staff is very concerned about the health and well being of their residents and he has made improvements during his time there. Upon visiting the facility I found it to be better than I imagined and was impressed with the layout, the cleanliness, and the concern of the staff had for him. The owners always seem to be making improvements and reinvesting in the maintenance of the facility. Im forever grateful for the care the staff has shown my uncle over the years and he continues to enjoy his time at Arroyo Gardens.

I have a family member living in the Arroyo Gardens memory unit, and the staff has been very helpful and compassionate as he goes through the stages of Alzheimer's. Oh, and yes, he loves outings, and the food as well!

My mother-in-law has been in Casa Bonita 2 since last May. I’m satisfied with her care. There have been minor hiccups but all in all ages getting good care. At times the breakfasts seem rather skippy. The lunch & dinner meals seem to be of good portion. All the regular staff are very nice ( this includes the housekeeping, laundry and activity staff). If I have concerns or questions they are promptly addressed.

We moved my mom from another facility in a different state, and the staff at Arroyo couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. She is in the memory care section and the way the rooms are laid out makes it feel more like a home than an institution. We were worried that a move of such magnitude would be very difficult for my mom, but after only a few months, she if very comfortable and we are able to visit her every day.

As a POA for a 91 year old individual, it became necessary to find a Memory Care facility for her safety and comfort. After visiting several facilities in Green Valley and Tucson, I chose Arroyo Gardens as being far above the rest. It is not only a beautiful building, but it is extremely clean and well staffed. During my search I visited Arroyo Gardens several times. I was always impressed with the friendly and helpful manner in which the staff members were working with the residents. There was activity! I witnessed caregivers helping individual residents as well as several residents in groups being led by activities directors. This stood out to me because during my tour of many other facilities, I never saw this level of staff or activity. I certainly got the feeling that she would not be neglected. That feeling has turned out to be true. Arroyo Gardens has been outstanding.

We are very pleased to have Mom in Arroyo Gardens. It is the place she picked, upon reviewing many different options and assisted living facilities. I spoke with her this morning and she is very happy with everything. The facility, the wonderful food, outstanding staff and care. Our interaction with the staff has been wonderful. With me in a different state, they are extremely helpful in implementing what our family wants and needs are.

I trust my mother to Arroyo and you should too - excellent care by people who truly understand the needs of the cognitively declining. They have the patience of Job when it comes to caring for seniors!

Arroyo Gardens has taken care of two of my clients, I am a Professional Fiduciary. Both of my clients were well cared for and Arroyo Gardens remained professional and kind to them throughout their lives. Besides the care the apartments are lovely, the food is exellent and there are a lot of activities.

My mother has been an Arroyo Gardens resident for two years. I can't say enough positive things about Arroyo. The kindness of the staff is second to none. They all know my mother by name and provide helpful assistance to her as needed. Arroyo is clean and kept up to date as well. It always smells nice when you walk in the front door, and fruit-infused ice water is a nice touch throughout the building. Most importantly my mother is happy and safe, and she tells me that when we talk on the phone. I live in a different state than Arizona so my mother's happiness and safety are important to me when I am not there. I highly recommend Arroyo Gardens, and so does my mother!

My mom is 96 1/2 years old. She has been at Arroyo Gardens for one and a half years now since breaking her hip and ending up in a wheelchair. All of her needs have been well attended to while living in the memory care unit. Communication with People in management positions, and with all the staff has been very good. When problems have arisen with Mom, there’s always somebody to talk to, and the problems are resolved. I feel that my mother is in a very safe environment, people care about her and watch out for her. I appreciate all of the people that work at Arroyo Gardens, thank you for your dedicated service.

We have been very impressed with Arroyo Gardens since day one. Every employee seems to be very caring and easy to talk to when we need to. My mom likes it there very much!! Thank you all for making my mom's experience a favorable one. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!! Thank you for all you have done for my mom. We appreciate all of you employees!!

We were very pleased with our tour of this facility and were hopeful for a possible move-in, but no one ever followed up with us despite our request.

Everything I hear from my dad is that he loves it and is very happy at Arroyo Gardens. They provide memory care that is a perfect fit for my mom. It is a beautiful community with many activities to participate in and enjoy. My dad says he likes the food they serve. The staff is very friendly and caring. The community is well-kept and clean.

Before choosing a community for my mother, I toured Arroyo Gardens. I had a good tour, they were able to answer my questions and give me good information. The facility was clean and maintained well.

From the moment we entered the front door, everyone agreed that it was a step up from the other tour. The staff was very friendly, offered all sorts of information. The rooms were much larger and had their own private shower. Many of the residents we met were closer in abilities to our Dad. We were very impressed over all. They even invited Dad and his girlfriend to come back for a lunch date some time, very hospitable.

So far this place is very nice! My mother moved here and she loves it! From what I see the care is excellent.I haven't tried the food but she likes it very much.We chose this community because of the amenities they offer and the price.We were very impressed by the first tour and selected them right away!I would move here if I could.
