The facility and resident room are kept clean. Hygiene of the resident is good. Meals are excellent. High staff turnover is concerning. The activity calendar is good but it is not always adhered to by the staff. On weekends, staff children are present and they distract the staff from resident care and raise infection concern. At admission, nursing agreed to aid resident in wearing a CPAP mask and to use a bedside potty at night. This has been difficult to implement consistently every night. Still waiting for the resident's room window to be switched from curtains to more sanitary blinds as promised.

Our loved one came from [community name removed] and has now spent the past several months at Windsor Heights in Beachwood. They were terrific there I would really recommend Windsor Heights for any dementia or Alzheimer patient. All they do is those diseases. The experience has been fantastic and the food is fantastic which is a plus. In addition, they have a family support group that meets every month that I was able to take advantage of. The facility would always check on how I was doing

We chose Windsor Heights because of the engagement of the staff with the residents and the cost. The entire team was great from beginning to end. I would highly recommend them. I referred a close friend of mine to you and they move their love one to Windsor as well (but he passed away shortly after the move)

Having an elder with dementia you need to trust where you place them. WINDSOR HEIGHTS IS NOT THE PLACE. if residents can get out 2x and not be found until almost to Green Rd.. something is wrong with the quality of care and those that are in charge of running this home.

The only way they can make improvements is to have more staff, but I doubt that is possible.

Three observations: 1. The staff is not overtly friendly but they are amenable, cheerful, and responsive. 2. When my dad was receiving care at home from my mother, she was about killing herself to give him excellent care and was guilt-ridden about making the decision to put him into residential nursing care. The plain fact is that my dad is thriving at Windsor Heights. Mom visits every day. It's a win-win. 3. It is sad to see so FEW residents receiving visitors!!!!!

I can’t praise Windsor enough for the loving and high level of care my wife received at the facility. I always had a piece of mind when I was not with my wife, that she was safe and was receiving the same level of care even though I wasn’t present. I highly recommend Windsor for the care of your loved one!

My loved one moved in a couple months ago and our experience has been very pleasant! Staff are all very friendly and there are a lot of activities the residents can participate in. I was very nervous about putting my mom into memory care because of horror stories I have heard, but this was not the case here. My mom has thrived here and all my nerves were for nothing. If you are on the fence, don’t be, it was a great decision we made!

Windsor Heights is a very nice community for any residents who have any sort of a memory impairment. Unlike places in the area that have a memory care unit, Windsor Heights specializes in it. They have residents in very early stages, all the way to very high care. You know if you choose Windsor Heights m, your loved one is in great hands!

I toured here about a week ago and the community is very clean and very homey. This is not like your typical larger communities where memory care tends to be an after thought and lost in the shuffle. This community focuses on Memory Care, and it shows! Do yourself a favor and skip the larger communities in favor of this charming home!!

I was very impressed with Windsor Heights when I toured. The sales woman was very kind and had a lot of patience with all the questions I asked. The staff seems like they really care about the residents well being, and the community smelled and looked very clean. I will be bringing back my family to tour before we make a final decision, but this is at the top of my short list.

The location of Windsor Heights would have worked out great for me. I was favorable impressed with the facility, I like the fact that it only focuses on memory care. I ended up touring another place that was further away and just felt that facility was going to be the best fit for my loved one.
I used the facility for my wife who suffers with Parkinson’s and dementia, for respite care while I was traveling for work. The staff took wonderful care of her while I was away and I will be using their facility again soon.

They did a wonderful job with my father while he was here. It is a specialized memory care facility from beginning to the end. The directors and administrators are all nurses which made me feel more comfortable because they understood and I thought that was great. I found them online and I did not think their advertisement did them any justice. When I went in to tour it looked so much better than it did online. I felt better physically seeing it rather just seeing it on the website. I would definitely recommend Winsor Heights to other families looking, it is a great place.

My experience with the care of my dad has been exceptional. Since dad has been in the Community of Windsor I have seen him go from A-Z . The care has been amazing from the Nurses,Aids and the quality and portions of Food served and Nutrition. I am so pleased to have my dad reside at Windsor Heights.
