Whiterock Court

We are pleased with White Rock Court. The place is lovely, the food is good, and the residents seem happy. My brother is hoping there will be more activities once the new Activity Director has more time at the job.

Everyone nice. Recently completely remodeled so clean and fresh. Amenities a little below some others but totally reasonable for the price. Very good place for the money.

I love the setting and her apartment is the perfect size and convenient to where we live. The common areas are very nice since they remodeled. However, when we signed the lease a year ago, they charged us $[removed] /month for a studio apartment. I have since found out that they not only didn't honor the "move-in" special negotiated, but recently when the new management company took over, the new rents for a studio are $[removed]/month and $[removed] for a one bedroom. They refused to renegotiate the rent to current market rents. My mom does not have any financial resources and all of the burden falls on my husband and me. Of course, they know it would be a colossal hassle to move her, so I have no leverage.

The facility is beautiful and everything is newly redone. The staff is welcoming, but not overly so. The activities are better than some other places, but they still are focused on things inside the building more than outside the building. Also, the add-on medical care we've gotten there has been uneven. We're working on that.

I live out of state. [name removed] and my Mother's house keeper are incredible. They deserve a raise. Based on the experience our family has had so far with Whiterock Court, we would absolutely recommend them to other families.

I am currently a resident at Whiterock Court and everything has been very good for me here at this facility so far. This is an Independent Living place. The surroundings are beautiful. The other residents make you feel at home right away. The staff is always there to help if you need something. The light housekeeping is very good. Transportation is available if you need it.

The community seems professionally run with a modern standard of excellence. They care about the resident's happiness here. The staff communication has been great in answering any of my questions that I have had about my loved one. There are three meals a day served and the residents have choices to choose from.

Holiday Whiterock Court is a beautiful community that is surrounding by a beautiful area with woods near by and we like that it is off the beaten path. Right when you walk in you can see just how bright and open the area is, you can see three floors up and the dining hall is super nice. We believe the activities going on area great and all the staff members we have met with so far are super friendly.

When I first went there it was great and now things are different. They have not done what I was told would be done. I was told she would have housekeeping and they do not. She only gets housekeeping every few weeks and that's currently. Prior it had been months. The washer and dryers are also not working. I am not happy with it, however my mother has made many friends and does not want to leave because it is pretty. The staff are always on there phones. The person that I first started with left the community and a lot of the other workers have left also. A resident was wheeled out in an ambulance and no one was helping with anything and seemed as if it was nothing. They told the EMS that it was senior living not assisted living when they were asked for contact information or any notes on the resident. I am not happy with this community at all. I have reached out to the community and they have not gotten back with me. My loved one also does not like the meals and I pay for a lot of them. The activities are great and my loved one loves them. That is one of the biggest things for my loved one. I am now looking for somewhere else for my loved one to go unless they step it up.

Overall experience has been fine, the community is clean but the house keeping in our loved ones room is lacking a little. The friendliness of the staff members are great, and our loved one seems really happy with the meals and dining service. We also think the activities are good to.

What a mixed up place! I would not send my worst enemies parents here! Avoid for sure!

It has been a nightmare at Whiterock Court. I feel very sorry for the people who reside here. They are on their 3rd general manager (maybe 4th) since last July. The food is atrocious and the residents do not get all of their meals. Right now, because of the snow storm they had a pipe but over the kitchen and while trying to fix it something else happened so it is still not fixed and the dining room is not open. They are just started this week to do their covid shots. It is a mess and I would not recommend it to others and would tell others not send anyone here. Had I known then what I know now, I would have never put my loved one here.

There is a home health care that you can contract separately. I would recommend the community. The grounds are pretty. The inside is nicely decorated and warm. It is a nice location. My loved ones are receiving food in their rooms due to COVID.

We chose Whiterock Court because of the price and the location, we wanted to keep him close to his doctors at the time. His room was on the smaller side compared to some we saw, but he didn't really need a bunch of space. The best part about this community was their staff members, they were very caring and helpful along the process. I would recommend.

I've got to give accolades to [names removed] and the entire staff for putting up with over 100 old folk, all of whom are set in their ways. They make life comfortable and keep us well-nourished.

After a year and a half, I am very proud of the decision to move in! I love it here!
