Waterstone of Westchester is a bright, beautiful building with gorgeous apartments. Residents were so engaged through fitness classes, lectures, musical entertainment, clubs, games, cultural trips and movies. They have one of the best happy hours I have seen in any community! You can tell this independent community is one of the best - the employees address the residents by name, it is so refreshing to see. I have been in the community a few different times since they opened in 2022 and each time notice something different. There is a really good energy in the building. Not something I see that often when I visit my clients in senior living communities.

The staff are accessible and friendly. The housekeeping is great. Once a week they clean the bathroom, floors, kitchen and vacuum/dust. Great communication with the family, from the top down. Be clear. Only 30 meals a month. You can choose lunch or dinner. Most eat at dinner time. Breakfast is an every day SMALL continental buffet, if you so choose and does not count as a meal. I think the food quality is above average. They have specials every night including salads and dessert. And have EVERYDAY items that you can choose from like omelets, burgers, pasta. Their activities are awesome and there is a Happy Hour every night at 4:30. I would recommend this facility to others. It's expensive, probably one of the highest in the area. But you get a washer/dryer, full size kitchen, large walk in closet, and choice of a balcony or not.

A Place for Mom has scored Waterstone of Westchester 8.6 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
