My grandson Says it looks more like a country club. Open spaces with pool table, piano, card tables, bar with lots of windows looking out to a courtyard with a moving stream at its border. Food is good and plentiful. Friendly staff and residents Comfortable apartments and best of all a heated pool with therapeutic staff to work with u if needed

Sad to say my Mom passed away [date removed], but she did love Watermark aka The Emerson - although it was short, she was happy there. Majority of staff was great... some maintenance issues took awhile to be addressed - like leaking dishwasher which was a safety concern for me.

We have only been here for 4 weeks and things have been good. There were a few initial problems but they worked hard to get them resolved. Am hoping that this continues. One concern is that they are changing management companies on [date removed]. That is always a concern so am hoping that is a positive thing.

I would say it is very clean. Most employees are super friendly. And there are good activities to participate in. There is a good variety. The food is hit or miss. If you don't use your $400 dollar food allowance for the month it does not carry over, you lose it. Staff turnover is unbelievable there. You just get to know staff and then they are gone. There are a lot of temps while they search to fill positions. Maintenance is near impossible to schedule. You have to make multiple follow up calls to get problems taken care of. After ground maintenance is performed the debris is often left laying about. I also think the price is steep for what you are actually getting. Another positive is the rules here are very lenient.

The location is fantastic with shopping and restaurants close by. It's conveniently located to st. Louis, St. Charles and all of their offerings. The complex is well kept and they have fun family events. They make us feel welcome. I'm just disappointed in all of the staff changes and price increases that seemingly come without notice. The sales process was wonderful. We were told we would be locked into a rate for a year. However, that was not in the paperwork and we have been experiencing price increases which is difficult with fixed incomes. The staff has been accommodating. However, we have had a couple emergencies where the call buttons were used and there were long delays and I had to assist my mom on one occasion.

We moved my mother to Watermark St Peter’s about 7 weeks ago. As with any move, it takes time to get used to different surroundings, but everyone we’ve met, be it staff or resident, have been so kind and accommodating. Mom’s social life is now 100% better than it was when she was living with us and that makes all of us happy. Apartments are newly renovated and we were able to bring some of mom’s garden items with her to personalize her outdoor space, which she loves and others can enjoy looking at too. We’re very happy with this community and VERY much appreciate the positive and caring nature of the staff.

The people here are so nic, from the employees to the residents! Although we really haven’t participated in all the activities there are to do yet, as we are still getting settled, there are tons of things to keep you busy! There were a few things that needed fixing when we moved in, but they are working on them to get them fixed. All in all, the location, people and housing is just what we were looking for. The price is a little steep, but no more than any other independent living facility in the area, I don’t think.

My father was a resident at this facility. He told me he fell in the bathroom but was able to push his pendant to request help. He said no one responded to the request for 3 hours. At first I found this hard to believe however when I raised the issue Watermark management confirmed this indeed happened. I had a conversation with the Executive Director of the facility and we reached a hand shake agreement to return a portion of the monthly rent since my father never returned. To my dismay they have not honored this agreement and have not responded to my follow up attempts. Shame on me for not getting anything in writing. I got the impression from the Executive Director that the call button situation was just an unfortunate accident but they did nothing wrong. Before this situation I would have given Watermark a much higher rating but now I would think twice about sending my loved one to live there.

Staff was friendly and very nice. Housekeeping was just okay - but we appreciated having the bathroom done. My Mom still did dusting, floors etc. Her time slot was only 20 minutes, so not much more than the bathroom and a quick vacuum of bedroom could really be done. Communication with family was okay. She was only there not quite 5 months, but I felt pretty informed. The move in process was fine. The meals were very good, Mom really liked them and the dining staff was excellent. Improvements: better response times for maintenance issues. Would I recommend: Yes - my Mom really loved her apartment and the activities - she was just really getting plugged in. She really liked the staff as well. I believe they treated her really well and she was quite comfortable there.

Watermark has been fantastic. I can't say enough good things about them. From the very beginning when we walked in and had our tour, to my dad moving in, the staff have been fantastic. They were not pushy, and I felt reassured when they highly suggested we go on other tours. All the staff - from maintenance to the cook to the sales person - everyone is amazing. The front desk staff is always personable and kind. It's always a hard transition when you have to move an older parent, and I thought it was going to be very difficult. But it has been a joyful decision for my dad and for our family. They just make you feel at home. I'm not of age yet, but I would want to move there myself!

We had a very positive tour experience with Watermark at St. Peters. If it were up to me, this facility would have been my first choice especially because of the convenient location. The price and the amenities offered were very comparable to the facility that we ended up choosing. It is a very nice facility.
