Villages Rehab & Nursing Center

The nursing care has been fine and my loved one is really pleased with them. She love the food. They have done very well letting me know things.

It's been very nice. It' comfortable and the people are very helpful and knowledgeable.

The staff is very attentive to my mother who is a special case. They have been very knowledgeable and gave me resources for mom.

It has been going well at The Villages Rehabilitation for my brother. He is happy with the therapy he is getting and the nursing is good too. I don't think there is anything he has mentioned that could be improved. I would recommend The Villages.

My loved one's stay has been good and she says the meals are very good. I need more information on her care.

It is excellent. The staff is attentive, skilled and very available. They are lovely people. I have recommended it to friends.

They are doing an outstanding job. The therapists are doing all they can.

The people are an A+++! They are very good to my loved one.

My aunt said they are very nice there and took care of her. She had physical therapy and they helped her. It was hard to talk to a nurse at the nurse's station. I'm unsure if I would recommend The Villages.

The experience was really pretty good. The whole staff was really nice. The food was good.

Overall, our experience was great! The physical therapy was excellent. My husband had some issues with sharing a room with someone else. There was no diet control with salt and sugar.

The staff was phenomenal. Everything was positive except the food and the mattress. My loved one's bed had springs that made them uncomfortable and the food was inedible, burned, and processed. My loved one has said they will not go back to The Villages because of the food.

My loved one said the staff makes sure someone is checking on him periodically, to see how he is doing. The staff like to know where their patients are and if they are okay. My loved one hasn't complained about the food. The only issue is that we have been trying to get our loved one a specific medical appointment, and the staff has been dropping the ball on that. I just think they have to communicate better.

The Villages do various therapies like physical, occupational, and speech therapy well. The nurses are very nice but my loved one's medical needs mean he needs help to do a lot of things and there isn't a level of nurses there that I'm comfortable with helping him. They also seem to have a shortage of CNAs, and that's universal at any facility. I think the name of the facility says more. It is not just a rehabilitation center but also a nursing center.

I would say my stay at The Villages has gone very well. I have been extremely lucky coming here and being able to recover how I have. Nursing care has been good. The ladies are extremely careful and considerate while they are providing care. I really didn't know what to expect coming into The Villages and I just feel overall extremely lucky for the experience I have had.

Most of the time the staff are friendly, but they're always busy and you see them playing on their phones. When I ask the staff questions and am not satisfied with their answers five minutes later I'll see them playing on their phones instead of helping find the answers. I am not really happy with the nurses. They are always doing something else and I can't talk to them. The rehab therapy part is good. I have to track someone down to talk to all the time. They do not come to me and trying to find someone who is knowledgeable is difficult.

Their rehab program is excellent! The late nursing shift is really tough, especially the after-midnight staff. The meals are fine, but they don't have enough help. The dining room staff doubles with the kitchen staff and sometimes they are short-handed.

They're a well-rounded establishment. With what I've seen, they seem to be doing well with his therapy. It seems up to par for cleanliness. He said the food was alright. They haven't communicated with me about anything. Only when I am there to ask questions, do they communicate with me.

They have a pretty good regimen for her therapy. Certain individuals could be more attentive. Nothing egregious, but sometimes she has to ask for things she shouldn't have to. They didn't always have the food she was supposed to have per her diet. It was hard for her to stick to her diet. Everyone is in a different department, and they tend not to know what's going on. You have to talk to ten different people to get the whole picture.

The CNAs are more visible than their nurses. They give him good attention and they are working on it all week. The fact there are 3 shifts is a plus. They have some good nurses but they do not understand their roles. I watch the CNAs run all over the place and the nurses ignore when the cords are pulled. The nurses do not watch when he takes his pills. He has a pocketing issue. Their beds need to be changed more often and made. Towels need to be refreshed more often. Their food seems to be adequate but he has no taste. People say it is good and it smells good. The food people are nice.
