The value for money was very reasonable, especially compared to others we looked at. More CNAs would be good but that's the case everywhere now. We were involved as a close family to let them know what we needed as things came up and we felt Twin Oaks gave good care for the money. Activities were not helpful in our case as our mom was nearly blind and deaf and unable to enjoy most of the activities. However, we brought music to he, along with other residents. Perhaps recruiting more old time or 59s and 60s music would be enjoyable. Our family continues to bring that but only for an hour per month. It is always a difficult decision to place a parent in a care facility. When we started looking for a facility for our dad, I called at least eight properties. Twin Oaks really stood out, as they were very responsive to all my inquiries. The Community Relations Director, Memory Care Director, and their staff were very professional, accommodating, and friendly every step of the way; to include, the application process, moving-in, and interacting with our dad on a daily basis. Our dad is well-cared for and happy. Twin Oaks has taken much of the anxiety out of this transition.

I moved my dad into memory care several months ago, and after seeing the facility and care he was receiving, my wife moved her grandmother in a few months later. I like the fact that Twin Oaks is independently owed; we have personal meet the owners and most of the staff know us by name. They have weekly activities and the staff is excellent at interacting with my dad. He is gluten Intolerant and the kitchen does an excellent job at providing gluten free meals. I am confident that my dad is receiving the best care possible.

From the moment we walked in the door this place just felt right. It is brand new, beautiful and extremely well designed. We were amazed at how large and well planned out the resident rooms were, compared to other places we had looked at. The owners and staff are hands on and so warm and welcoming every time I visit my relative. They have always quickly responded to any suggestions or questions we have had. The dining and community rooms and their activities have provided plenty of sociality and friendships. It was hard for my relative to make the decision to move to an assisted living but they have told me since, that moving to Twin Oaks was the best decision they have ever made.
