My loved one is happy here. The people who work here are very caring and have always gone out of their way to help me when I needed it. Yes there is turnover but what assisted living does not have problems with this. The food could be better and it is a little shabby but always clean. I do not worry about my loved one being mistreated here. And she likes most of the residents too.

[Removed] This owner is very questionable. Different stories every time I spoke with her, seemed to play games, holding a room one day, letting it go the next, very conflicting information. Was holding a room we told her we were still interested in, said take our time, then gave it to the first prospective renter that walked through the door. Claimed I was too difficult to work with, when all I was trying to do was get a straight answer out of her. What she really meant was "Lady you ask tough questions that I cannot answer and frankly I don't want to have to deal with your expectations". I've seen nothing but negative reviews for this home and I would not trust this owner with a dog much less my husband. As for the staff, they seem quite capable and friendly. Also when we first checked online for the price of a private room it showed $2100. When we showed interest it had jumped up to $2600. Still have questions about that, but maybe the web site wasn't up to date. She asked me WHO left negative reviews about her and I said they were anonymous and her response was "SEE" that's all untrue. " Well leaving an anonymous review does NOT mean it is untrue. This person is so unprofessional and mentally questionable you don't dare leave personal information. Update: After pulling the rug out from under us, she calls me this morning all apologetic about all the "misunderstanding and confusion", all of which she caused, and now pretending to look like she's trying to make good, she offers to help us find a place for my husband. ARE YOU KIDDING?I saw right through her little ploy and did not return her call. She did us a big favor showing her unprofessionalism before we made a huge mistake of moving my husband there. Beware! Check with Dept of aging to learn more before you trust and regret it. Do your research! It's boggling to me as to how this place is still operating, but maybe because there's no other place for those poor tenants to go. I'm . talking to our lawyer today. At the least what she did to us was extremely unethical. I saved all phone calls to and from so I can prove what she promised, how she played us and how she screwed us. I guess she thought she had a sucker on her hands. I feel sorry for the man she gave the room to.

Pros: all on one level, temperature set at 70 degrees, fair cleanliness for this population, no untoward odors. Nice community living room, flexible visiting hours. Con: frequent turn over of staff, shortage of staff, theft by staff and other residents, laundry goes lost, lack of dining choices and served cold. Exterior entrance has uneven grading and ridges, sidewalk needs repaired, roof gutters need cleaned, has potential ice dam. Rainwater doesn't drain. Observed exit doors propped open.

They are a fantastic place! Eleanor who runs the place is very friendly, and the staff is very accommodating. They have been very effective with their coordination. The owner has visited her personally while she is in the hospital. I felt that was an extra personal touch. There are a lot of residents with dementia, so finding mental stimulation can be tough. This is more of a home like feel instead of an institution. There have not been any complaints about the food. They have some entertainment going on, religious services, and musicians. We think they are a great place.
