Thrive at Green Island

Thrive is a very good place for senior living and memory care. In the 9 months my husband was there in memory care, he was treated with the utmost respect and treated with dignity and respect. Any issue we had was dealt with and resolved immediately. He was always well cared for, and he was loved by his caregivers and the administration.

The care, staff, meals, activities have been excellent. The value for the cost is a little high, but considering everything else is worth it. Overall everything is excellent. I am very happy and more important my loved one is happy.

My experience overall has been positive. It's difficult however for me living out of town and trying to check on her to make sure all is going well. Whenever I call, I do feel I get good information from staff and the nurse. One thing I'm picky about is wanting them to fix her hair daily. Not necessarily a salon-type style but just a quick day to day look. For whatever reason, they do not stay on top of this. I bring it up often. Some of the pricing areas/supplies seem a bit high but there is no way for me to accurately know or keep track of items needed monthly. I would recommend Thrive and always voice any concerns with the staff.

The med tech staff for the most part are responsive, and show care and empathy. The non med staff turns over to much. They cannot perform basic tasks like doing simple laundry. The food is terrible. High starch, low protein, small portions, etc. they do not respond to feedback about the poor quality of meals and serve the same thing over and over

My mother is a resident at Thrive at Green Island and her experience at this facility has been great so far. The move in process was easy, they rolled out the red carpet to welcome her in. The staff is very nice and they keep me informed about her well-being. The rooms are very nice. Mom says that the food is a hit or a miss. Overall, I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I was impressed with Thrive from the moment I walked in. I was met with a friendly and informative staff who answered all my questions. They offered assistance and resources and were very helpful navigating the whole process. They have a lot to offer, from daily activities, exercise and outings to a nice dining menu with options. The property is beautiful and the staff is outstanding. I’d highly recommended Thrive to anyone in need of assisted living or memory care for a loved one.

They have done a good job. My loved one seems to like to food, and is very happy, They have great activiites. It's expensive but seems to be working. We picked this community because it was highly recommended by a neighbor, and it seemed to be the best fit for my loved one. I would recommend to other familes.

My first visit to Thrive was to assess the facility to see if it would be a good fit for my Dad. The first thing I noticed was how clean it is and how welcome and comfortable everyone made us feel. A BIG bonus for Thrive is their great Activities Team that organizes the most fun and energic activities to engage the residents. At the end of our visit, I immediately decided this was for sure the best place for my Dad. Once we were able to get his furniture and personal items in place, we arrived with my Dad where he was welcomed with a "Red Carpet Experience"! He was All Smiles with all of that wonderful attention!! From the very beginning of his residency, he commented about the staff saying, "everyone here is SO good to me!" Certainly made my heart smile to know how special the staff makes him feel, every day!

They staff is so helpful. My mother's nurse [name removed] is attentive and competent. The facility is very clean and well organized. [name removed] was so helpful with my mother's move to Thrive. Thanks [name removed] and [name removed] for being so kind and helpful.

[Name removed] goes over and beyond for her residents. My Aunt resides there and she makes her feel special. Thrive is not just an assisted living it is Home to my Aunt and many others. Thank you [name removed] for being so caring and having such a warm heart.

My grandma has been well taken care of here. My family and I were skeptical of Senior living at first, but the employees here have mad this difficult time a little less difficult for us. Peace of mind for sure.

I visited Thrive in November of 2018 and fell In love with the people I met and the surroundings . as a new facility there were many kinks to be ironed out. After 4 years I’m still extremely happy. The directors, team care members and housekeeping staff are cheerful, smiling and good natured. If you act in a kindness they respond likewise. The activities are wonderful. Exercise, trips out, arts and crafts, and special guests coming in regularly . The beauty salon is open one day a week with a fine beautician. Everyone is always ready to help in any way. I’m staying!

Overall happy.

My husband arrived in Thrive 5 months ago. The initial adjustment was difficult, but the staff went out of their way to try to make him comfortable and welcome. His transition is 90% complete and he seems happy almost all the time. Other than some of the “patients rights “ rules, I am extremely pleased with Thrive at Green Island

I have no complaints. They are all so attentive to my needs and requests.

The staff has always been so welcoming! Beautiful community!

Wonderful new team!

It is wonderful knowing that my mother is not only in a beautiful place but a place that has a qualified professional nurse and LPN on site with CNA’s that truly care. I can sleep at night and not worry knowing that someone will be checking on her often and assist when needed. She loves to dance and there are lots of opportunities in activities and music to keep her dancing. Thank you Thrive for providing these things and so much more.
