So far so good! She’s happy! Staff is wonderful to her and us!!

My mom went into Willow Crossings in July. Everyone that works there from the Director and everyone who works under her direction have been welcoming to my mom and to us from the start. If my mom can’t be home I’m glad she’s there. I know she’s safe and she keeps from getting bored! From all the many activities offered. Entertainment has been great! The food and therapy are fantastic! The nurses and receptionists are so wonderful and caring to my mom as well as her family! I love them! I know she’s in caring and loving hands when I leave at night. You can’t put a price on peace of mind!! ! The residents are just fantastic! Words can’t describe how several of them have taken my sometimes shy mom under their wings. It makes my heart so happy and warm to see that. I highly recommend!... Read more

Overall very satisfied

There could be some improvements to those with special dietary needs - for my mother it is finding something to eat that is on her diabetic diet such as low carb and low sugar. There also could be more up to date movies and more arm chair activity and exercises for residents who have limited mobility.

Peace of mind

I have difficulty with writing this type of answer The food is good. I eat with Bill on a regular basis. The staff and the other people who live there are friendly. It is hard to compare Willow crossing to where my loved one was before. I filled 5 complaints with the state where he was before Most people do not know what it is like if There love one has never lived in a rehab. All I can say is I have been grateful for having found willow crossing.

Taking care of Mom

Everyone at The Village At Willow Crossings cares about the residents living there and how they feel. The food is very good, there is always something new. The move in was fine we did it ourselves. The activities seem to be enough to keep my loved one engaged. Overall, The Village At Willow Crossings is a great Assisted Living Community. My loved one really likes the vibe there.

My Tour Experience at The Village at Willow Crossings

The Willows was absolutely stunning. We would have chosen that but when we saw the 2 bedroom option at another community we were sold. Otherwise it would have been The Willows.

Best place for my 94 yr old aunt!

My 94 year old aunt has been living at Willow Crossing in Mansfield for the past 2 years. The care is excellent and everyone there is kind and compassionate. I could not be happier with her care. The process of touring and getting my aunt situated there was easy and they helped every step of the way. If you researching places for your loved one, Do not overlook Willow Crossing!

Would not hesitate to recommend!

It is a very nice place. We feel comfortable with our family member there. We feel he is in a safe place. Now that he is settled in, he likes it and feels the staff is caring and good to him. The process to get him there was relatively easy. We are very happy with The Village at Willow Crossing.

Beautiful

It's a beautiful place with some great employees. Our mother called it home and truly loved living there. She thrived living there & she loved all the activities. We all wished mom had been there sooner so she could have enjoyed it even longer. I would certainly recommend The Village at Willow Crossings to any friends or family members looking for a quality and caring center for their loved one's.

Community Tour

We toured at The Village at Willow Crossing, and we thought it was a very nice place. But they wanted too much money. And on top of that, they wanted a buy-in too.

We moved my loved one here form another community, and the care is a hundred times better. The staff is wonderful. They seem to have more staff, happier staff, and their communication is better. We've been very happy with The Village.

Our experience with The Village

We chose The Village at Willow Crossings because it was recommended to us and they worked with me diligently the day that I went in there. They are able to provide the level of care that he was needing at this time in his life as well. The room size for him is adequate. They have been good with communication and overall we have been happy. I would recommend to other families that are looking.

Review for The Village at Willow Crossings

We chose this community because of the rehab, but my mom did not get the rehab that I wanted. For what you are paying, the rooms are nothing spectacular, they are very old and need work. The food is alright, but they do not get to pick what they eat. I would recommend The Village at Willow Crossing, it is not a bad community it's just very expensive.

“A place called home”

Our mother has been here for over 2 years now after moving from another facility. The workers here are always So positive and engaging with everyone around them. They have gone above and beyond to make our mother’s stay very warm and genuine. They get her up & ready every day. Mom said they are all so good to her so that is amazing. The facility is always immaculate inside and out. We can’t thank you enough for all the extra efforts on Mom’s behalf. THANK YOU!

Feels Like Home - At All Levels of Care

Moving your loved one to Assisted Living is one of the hardest things you'll ever do. I moved my father to Willow Crossings a few months ago. I knew it was the right place during the tour, and not just for its affordability compared to other facilities. I wandered off and met residents on my own. Every one of them told me they were happy, my father would love it there, and that they would look out for him! Some (as well as the staff) gave me tissues! Unfortunately, my father declined rapidly and is now in the Memory Care Unit. But Willow Crossings gave him the chance to remain as independent as possible for as long as he could. They treat their residents with dignity and that meant the world to us. My father made many friends in Assisted Living and they were still there for him when he went into the Memory Care Unit. Now, moving into a memory care unit is a bit of a shock, I don’t care where you are. But my experience at Willow Crossings’ Memory Care Unit is one of love and kindness and not just for my father but for me. They understand how hard this is on family. I couldn’t handle all of this without the incredible staff at Willow Crossings, from the Director all the way down to the staff in the kitchen. I’ve gotten to know so many lovely residents and staff. It’s not easy getting old, let alone losing your mind and mobility. I love chatting with the residents that can talk, smiling at the ones that can't, listening to stories, making bracelets, coloring, folding. It’s like a little slice of heaven where you remember what’s truly important in life, love!

Absolutely the BEST assisted living facility anywhere!

My 97 year old mother lived here for 6 months before passing away peacefully in her own room surrounded by her children. The Village was the third assisted living facility my mother lived in. It by far surpassed the other facilities in every way. The loving, attentive, quality of care by the resident care associates was a true gift for my mother in her last days. Everyone at the Village was incredibly friendly and helpful. I am so grateful that I heard about this place from [name removed], her PCP, when I was being advised by others to send my mother to a nursing home to spend her last days alone and in misery. I cannot say enough good things about the Village -- it is truly a special place, and I am recommending it to anyone who has an elderly loved one in need of real TLC.

Your whole family deserves better.

Our family was heartbroken by the lack of care our parents received here. Alzheimer's is hard enough on a family but to be sold lies was so traumatic. We were led to believe our parents were still well enough to be in the assisted living care, not within their memory unit which shocked me the day of my tour. After our parents assessment, I was told they qualified for still living in the their main assisted living building. They could have a care plan put in place in the regular assisted living. We moved them in and our parents were ignored, unclean and sick. We had countless meetings and exchanges without any changes. A simple task of getting their laundry cleaned and put away couldn't get done. While the facility makes a great impression for it's grand appearance, the actual care was non existent. It was a year long, astronomically expensive experience of devastation. We are still seeking better options for new care and are very cautious.
