The Tradition - Lovers Lane offers assisted living and memory care for seniors in Dallas, Texas. Expansive courtyards feature pristine landscaping and a peaceful fountain. We had a wonderful tour with The Tradition. The lady who showed us around was very knowledgeable. Even after we have picked another facility, she still follows up with me every month to check on mom and see how she is doing. The only reason we did not go with this facility was because it was bigger and would require more walking. But other than that, they had so much to offer.
Facility is new and beautiful, though it is already showing signs of wear and poor construction. Over-priced for services it provides, plus lots of fees. Limited driver availability; cumbersome ride scheduling process; insufficient parking makes visits difficult. Food is fine, though chef has changed three times in last year. There is NOT a pool available for use, or a work out facility (only third party run physical therapy that requires doctor note). Tradition was without medical director for almost six months. Staff can be brusque. Expect more and better for $8k per month 2 person 1BR apt.

We toured this facility. It was wonderful. The location was a bit far for relatives living in far north Dallas at the edge of Plano.

I have recently had a tour of this community and I have no complaints about how the experience had went for my loved one and I. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions that we had for them in detail. It was just not the right location for my mom in the end decision.
