Amazing Residence for Mom

My mother has been a resident since the place first opened as Harbor Chase of The Park Cities 3 years ago, then changed management and became The Preston of the Park Cities. The place is gorgeous and they are far more creative with their food and menus than any other place we initially looked at. Although there has been turnover in staff over the years, the best key players on staff stayed & have become real assets to the place. When Covid hit we were tremendously concerned about how this would be dealt with and how the residents would be protected. Watermark, who is the management company have done a phenomenal job handling the pandemic and keeping residents safe and their families well informed. The staff & residents were fully vaccinated by late January. Finding a great place for a parent, spouse or relative who needs assistance can be a very trying time in everyone's life. You'd be hard pressed to find a better place for them than The Preston of the Park Cities.... Read more

About the facility The Preston of The Park Cities

The unique architecture of The Preston of The Park Cities draws the eye — tiered stories provide stunning outdoor patio and garden space on several floors. This senior living community offers elegance throughout, with thoughtfully designed common spaces featuring decorative three-dimensional artwork, splashes of color, and high-end finishes.

What The Preston of The Park Cities offers in elegance it also offers in amenities. This pet-friendly community employs dog walkers to make sure pets stay healthy, too. And, dedicated activity spaces for wellness, crafts, and billiards create an enticing social atmosphere.

Care options include assisted living, memory care, and an area called The Bridge, which caters to the unique needs of residents who benefit from a blend of assisted living and memory care services. Memory care residents live in a secure area of the community, with access to outdoor space, and respectful assistance enables all residents to live an independent lifestyle.

Of particular note, the community’s Watermark University offers residents the chance to expand their minds or teach a class based on their area of expertise. The Dallas Arboretum offers a class catering to those with dementia and Alzheimer’s, which the community takes advantage of.
