Within the first few minutes of us walking in the door, we both looked at each other and said "this is it!" Everybody was super friendly, employees and residents, it didn't smell, the kitchen was good about my mom's gluten intolerance, great activities director and activities! My husband and I have already told our sons to put us there when we need assisted living.... Read more

The staff was phenomenal. They were easy to work with. They stayed in contact. Overall, they were excellent, and went above and beyond.

It is such an easy experience when utilizing Linden At Stonehaven Square for Respite care. They make sure to go above and beyond at all levels with the staff. Great with communication all around. Makes it such a lovely place.

The Linden was spotlessly clean. You could eat off the floor. But the rooms were TINY. And the common area was way to small for all the residents to enjoy.
We are not there during the days but we do know they have different activities going on. The staff are very welcoming and kind to all their residents. Even with memory care issues sometimes they just go along with what the residents are saying but they do a wonderful job just making them feel comfortable and at home.

Our tour at The Linden was fine. I thought it was a good place. It was just a little too big for my loved one.
Our family had an in person tour and we liked the community, but it was a little to big for our loved one. If she was not in her stage of dementia we think it would of worked out. For those who are more independent it really looked like a fun place.
If we could give this community 10 stars we would, everyone always seems so available when we have questions, needs or concerns. The staff are great and they offer so much love and care to our mother, they are always there for the residents. We have been very impressed with the amount of genuine concern and care they should the residents and their families. They have a great amount of activities and sometimes the meals are a big hit with our loved one and other times not so much, but we do appreciate that they have alternative meal options.

Our family had an in person tour and we really did like it but it seemed like their prices would vary and we wanted more of a set consistent pricing.
We did not have a good experience here at the Linden. She got covid when she was here. The facility charged us for her room after she had passed so we were not happy about that. They have just seemed kind of stand off-ish and have not been empathetic. Before all of this happened, it did seem like a nice comfortable facility and the director was nice to work.

The Linden is clean, and the staff do their jobs well. My mom is well taken care of, and I have less stress as a result. Could you ask for more?

My mom lived at the Linden, starting in Assisted Living then moving to the Memory Care wing and finally being able to hospice in place. The staff and the facilities are outstanding! I have nothing but positive things to say about the care my mom received. I truly felt that each staff member cared about her. The food is very good, the facilities are beautiful and the activities are first-rate.

Response from The Stonehaven
April 4, 2019Thank you so much for your kind words! It was an honor to care for your mother. I know I speak on behalf of the team when I say that we truly do care about each of our residents. If there is anything you need, don’t hesitate to reach out to us! Thanks, Collin Coburn, General Manager
During Christmas, 2017, it was mandatory that we move our father to either skilled nursing or enhanced memory care. Since we already had a deposit down, we called the Linden. They helped us with every aspect of transferring dad from the assisted living facility he was in over to the Linden. They arranged to transport him from the hospital to the Linden, they made all the arrangements for his belongings to be moved. They listened carefully to all our needs and concerns and made the transition as seamless as possible. Being a new facility, there were a few kinks that needed to be addressed, but they were very receptive and handled each one of them immediately. The staff was very caring! They treated our dad as if he were family. It was a major validation when our dad referred to the staff as very nice. I felt confident that he was in great hands. As his health declined, they were very attentive and called us with any updates, even though we visited him daily. They arranged for hospice to come in, and they took great care of him until the end. Their grief was evident from the moment he passed. Many of them even attended the funeral. We couldn't have been more pleased with their love & care.

The Linden is just what I was looking for, for my Mom and Dad. It is in a nice part of town and easy to get to from where I live. We tried to move both of them into a studio apartment but it was just too small so we ended up putting them in a one bedroom. My Dad loves it, he loves meeting and talking to new people. Mom has alzheimers and sundowners syndrome, so she is having a hard time. Everyday is a new day for her and she doesn't understand why she can't go home. The nurses have handled her very carefully. We may end up having to put her in the Memory Care. When my parents were at home they weren't eating or taking their medication as they were suppose to. Now that they are in The Linden, my Dad has put on weight and Mom is even eating a little better. They are given the medication everyday at the same time and are checked on twice a day to make sure they are alright. I am very thankful for a place like The Linden. Thanks for listening.

A Place for Mom has scored The Stonehaven 9.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
