Tenants don’t seem too important

This is a very expensive place yet the food is barely edible. We’ve been very frustrated as nothing has changed for quite some time. Also, for the elderly watching tv may be a big part of their day yet this place changed the service where they get less channels. It’s so sad because this facility is VERY expensive. One would think the food would be edible and cable service would be the best! We ask for changes but it’s like they dont care.

Home at The Reserve

We chose The Reserve because they offered a cottage which was a bigger space for them. So far things have been great, my parents love how quiet and safe the community is. My dad really enjoys walking and they have a nice gazebo where we can all sit and talk. They no longer have house keeping in their cottages because of the staffing shortages, but they are working on it. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

Our tour experience

Our family had an in person tour, and the community was very very clean. However we did not choose the community because we did not really get a feeling that the encouraged the residents to get our of their rooms and be active. Another facility we toured was encouraging them, and interacting with the residents which was so good to see. The feeling with got with The Reserve is that if you are someone who really does not want to interact with anyone and just want to be alone, this would be the place for you.

This is a facility that had standard one bedroom, one bath, and setting area at approx 550 sq ft. The director there was impressive and focused on creating a culture of service and comfort. Their pricing was the lowest of the three that we looked at and the facility was new. The nursing lead had good questions for us and exhibited a spirit of partnership that we are looking for. This facility is a strong contender.

I adored the cottages. I think the use of space is perfect and the set up cute. The apt are alright. Not as new and as good of shape but I love the balacony.

Could be interested in 3 bedroom cottage. [Name removed] and I visited The Reserve at Hamilton Trace and met with [name removed] on Fri. [date removed]. We were positively impressed and are definitely interested in this place. Unfortunately, they have no openings for cottages. We toured one of the 3 bedroom cottages (main floor with large finished basement) and it was way too big for our needs. Great location with LA Fitness across the street and only a few miles to the Fishers YMCA. There is no meal plan. Restaurant style dining appears reasonably priced and charges are added to monthly statement. I asked [name removed] about food cost and she said that for apartment dwellers, $400 per month is allocated for meals and rarely do those folks exceed the allotment.

Terrible Memory Care facility

If you are looking for a Memory Care facility for your loved one, do not put them here. The staff is not trained for Alzheimer’s patients who are mobile. They don’t smile, they don’t engage with patients, the don’t redirect or re-approach. They put patients in front of the nurses station to sit all day so that they can text or socialize. If your loved one gets agitated, they call an ambulance to take them to the ER. They have no communication within departments. You have to tell them over and over again your loved ones needs. Please don’t place your loved ones at this facility.

Accommodating Community

This has been a good transition for my mother with her move this community. She is doing quite well. I got most of my feedback from my sister who is close to her, I don't live in the same state. From what I heard so far everything is going well. We are comfortable with the care they are providing her with. There are plenty of activities for the residents. The management is very accommodating with my mother special needs. This is a good fit for her and her needs. Hopefully everything continues to go in a positive direction here at this community.

Nice Looking Community

This is a lovely looking community. From what I saw everything looked very nice and well maintained. The staff was kind. They were informative and answered my questions. It is a nice community, but the location would not have work for the family.

We really loved this place, however, the cost compared to almost comparable communities was higher. When we thought about the annual 4 - 5 % increase, it seemed out of our price range. Other than price, this community has everything going for it.

Very impressed by our tour

We toured this location when we were looking into care options for our loved one. This was a VERY nice looking community, and was our second choice. The rooms were a little smaller than what we were hoping for, and it was not located quite as conveniently for family members, so in the end we went with another community. But we were very impressed by what we saw here, and would recommend looking into it as an option.

Our Family's Experience at Hamilton Trace in Fishers

My mother has been a resident of Hamilton Trace since May 2013. It is her third care facility in less than one year as her health continues to decline. The staff has been excellent. We have learned a lot in a year and now know what to expect and appreciate in nursing care. We have monthly care meetings so there is good communication between our family and the staff. My mom is very happy at Hamilton Trace. It is very conveniently located for our family so someone drops by every day to see Mom. I would definitely recommend it. I know several people who also have loved ones at Hamilton Trace. That means a lot to me too.
