First, the caregiver and nursing team are wonderful, but severely understaffed, there’s very little time for one-on-one care. The directors simply do not care about providing residents with respect and speak of residents as if they are nothing other than a rent check. The food is unappetizing anymore. My parents health and mobility have declined since moving into this facility. Currently there are no activities held that benefit residents health or mobility. The buildings cleanliness and staff attentiveness are outstanding compared to most facilities. While management is lacking the core staff are wonderful.

Very poorly run facility. Major issues prospective families need to be aware of. Take time to do your Research before deciding. Safety issues here. The elevators are unreliable. Many other concerns here.

My grandmother has lived there for a short period of time. We just recently removed her from there. The place looks beautiful. However the food is less than desirable on most days. There is often times that there is not enough food for the people that live there. The staff obviously has a drug problem. They smell of marijuana every time I have been there to visit. My grandmother had a problem with "falling" and has been transported by ambulance a few times. The facility she is at now appears to be better. She is falling less.

Usually the food is very good and when you need something they are very helpful
The floor plan is very convenient and user-friendly.
It's a great place! The staff are just wonderful and people from the staff in the kitchen to the caregivers and nurses and the other residents that live at The Pines are so fun and great to be around - just good people.
I like the people they are very nice and always offering their assistance. I like my room very much. I like everything so far, we do games and coloring - it's nice!
The food is good and the best thing is I don't have to make it
The housekeeping is great and the staff is very friendly and cooperative.
The staff is kind and helpful and make me feel comfortable and the building is very clean.
I like the way I get to choose what I do and I have freedom and privacy and I like the people.
The staff on my floor are very good and cooperative people.
I am pretty much able to do what I want. If I want to go outside to the garden or do something else it makes a big difference and I feel like I'm at home here.
I personally have never been inside of the facility. I have very little to do with them, but I know that my dad is safe and warm here.

Unique facility where the staff is very personable and caring. The apartments are beautiful. Amish food and the building is relaxed and personalized. They have continued to invest in community upgrades.

It is not a strict or regimented community. They're a little lax about things like making residents get out of bed to go get their meals, or get up in the morning and get dressed. It's much less regimented than a different place she lived at. And I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. That's just kind of how it is. Often when I go to visit her, she's in bed. She says the food is horrible. But she does let it sit for a couple of hours before she eats it. Either way, it does not look too amazing. Their activities have been pretty limited due to Covid, but I can't really hold that against them. It's a clean place. The people are friendly, and there's a homey feeling. The pricing is pretty fair compared to other places and for as nice of a place as it is.

A Place for Mom has scored The Inn at the Pines 8.6 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
