Lots to do, great staff, beautiful facilities. She's in independent living so I can't comment on other parts of the facility. Having some specialist doctors onsite periodically is helpful and convenient. I would definitely recommend The Fairfax to anyone looking.... Read more

Overall I thought they did a wonderful job here! The entire community just had a warm and welcoming feel, and the staff were very accommodating. What I liked most about this place is that it just felt like a big family. The staff and residents all knew each other's names, and all of their interactions were heartfelt and genuine. You could tell the staff really wanted the residents to live their lives, have fun, and feel at home.

Great place, perfect and a possible for when I need it. No bed available now for mental care, but on wait list. Father-in-law in hospital so we don't know what will be next or if anything will be needed. I recommend you offer this as a high quality place as often as possible.

Everyone was super helpful during the process of getting my Mom into the Fairfax. There were last minute changes in arrival dates and everyone worked with us to get it right. It's now been over a month and Mom is loving the place. I wish we had done this 5 or 6 years ago!

This one was really expensive and really "high class"- basically we couldn't afford it. Another reason we didn't chose this one was they wouldn't let her use her military prescirption, she would have to pay to use theirs. Mom's at the lowest level of care, she jsut needs somebody to get her her medications and remind her to eat but sh'es pretty self sufficient other than that. The base was around 6,000 so with that and then the additional cost of prescriptions it was too expensive.

A Place for Mom has scored The Fairfax 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
