From the sales staff to the day my mother left two months later, it was nothing but lies. Food sucks; IT IS NOT SERVED WITH 2-PLATE PRESENTATION. Care is spotty at best. Even with industry-wide difficulties, there is no excuse for some of the occurrences I've witnessed; they will tell you what they think you want to hear. If you are a "drop and go" type and want to pay your money and forget about it, you are the ideal candidate. God help your loved one if you don't check in FREQUENTLY. If you do check in, you will have a part-time job going instructing people on how to do their jobs while fielding excuses. Their phone system supposedly has some problem that apparently prevented the staff from reaching me. It took weeks before someone sent an email letting me know they were even trying to reach me by phone. Likely story ... it sounded more like an excuse to say "We tried but couldn't reach you." Despite listing Special Diets, I was told point blank :"We don't do special diets." DNR!

I felt that the staff here were very friendly and they took good care of my wife while she was here. I do think that they need to add more staffing though. My wife's needs were met well and even as her care need started to change to more of skilled nursing care they were able to help me find a new community that would be able to address those needs for her. This was a nice community.

A Place for Mom has scored The Arbors at Bluff Creek Terrace 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
