TerraBella Myrtle Beach

It's the best place that we know of in Myrtle Beach. The location...being in the center of Myrtle Beach is an asset. Some places for seniors are in much higher traffic areas. It's more affordable than several places. It's bright and lovely.

I would give Terra Bella five stars on all of those! From what I understand, the quality of the meals dropped off for a little bit, but it has slowly been getting better. The value especially is very competitive for the amenities. The same type of community would be at least double in price here in North Carolina. I know I can speak for my friend as well that she is very pleased!

You could do as much as You want ...activities wise or none at all. It is safe/ clean/ there is a beautiful backyard with a walking path around the facility 4 times around ... you walk a mile. The administration is Very Friendly/ Caring and Efficient! The bus takes you to shop twice a week and doctors appointments. There is " Home Instead "office in site ..a chapel with Sunday Service. Unisex Beauty Shop... exercises bikes in the activity room... Weekly Wednesday outings to Mall/ Clothing Stores/ Restaurants . There is a Medical " Your Health" in the facility with nurse/ nurse practitioner when you don't feel well. If you need physical therapy there is "Weston Group" ready to help out. The Podiatrist comes about every two months to help with your feet needs. We love it here. It works for us!

Great staff, very communicative, great value, knowledgeable staff, clean facility, beautiful apartments.

What has made this community such a great experience so far is how convenient it is to get to things. We also like the transportation that is available. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Our loved one is currently a resident at TerraBella Myrtle Beach. If we could afford more, we would But on a budget, it's good. The cleaning is on you. The food is okay/good. However, they are struggling to keep workers so I'm not sure why. I would recommend TerraBella Myrtle Beach if the person needs a nice apartment and doesn't need much assistance.

We lost my dad just before Christmas and I was looking for a place for mom to move to. There were too many memories in the house. My mom is showing some signs of forgetfulness as we all do and I am so glad that she has the dining room where she can eat her meals with her new friends and she doesn’t have to worry about cooking anymore. The apartments at Terra Bella are very nice very roomy with nice bathrooms and walk-in showers. My mom is in a first floor unit and she has a nice patio and overlooks a pond. We feel blessed that we were able to find Terra Bella and get my mom a place there and she is really happy with her new place.

The rooms are large and well maintained. The staff is very nice. We love that there is medication management staff onsite... and the price, for such a beautiful facility, is very affordable.

I was searching for a place for my friend that would feel like home. The staff at Terra Bella made me feel welcome and comfortable enough that I knew my friend would in fact call it home. Plenty of amenities and the meals are prepared with Care and are delicious! My friend has made several new friends and is settling in quite nicely. It’s a clean and well cared for facility with beautiful decor everywhere you look. I would highly recommend checking it out! I am thrilled for her and so happy A Place for Mom pointed us in the right direction!

Our family has been very satisfied with TerraBella Myrtle Beach. They have been very attentive to our loved ones needs. And have been very welcoming and he loves the food. We couldn't ask for anything better.

[name removed], the Executive Director for Terra Bella, goes over and above her responsibilities in making sure each tenant is happy and taken care of. During a very stressful time with my father with rapidly progressing dementia, she made it her mission to assist me in his transition to a memory care facility making it as seamless as possible given the challenges this event presented. I would always recommend Terra Bella Myrtle Beach as your first and only place to go for independent living! Phenomenal person!

It's quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. I picked this community because I wanted someone close to me meaning close to where I live.

My loved one is a resident at TerraBella Myrtle Beach and her experience at this facility has been great. The cleanliness and friendliness are great! Suggestion for improvement: I think a move in pamphlet would be good. Information on services you can get there, like tray to room or laundry. Is it ok to order deliveries and how to address them. What to do when you arrive. We did arrive on a Saturday, so I'm sure there would have been more instruction on a weekday. Overall, I would recommend this facility to others. I have recommended it many times already.

My family and our loved one have had a great experience with the community. The staff are kind, caring, knowledgeable, and helpful. Everyone seems friendly. There are activities and meals provided. Overall, we would recommend you look at the community to see if it would be a good fit for your loved one.

Unfortunately, Mom contracted Covid, and then several UTIs, shortly after she moved in and spent a good portion of her time in the hospital, before being relocated to a long-term care facility. I wish she could have had more time at TerraBella. I would definitely recommend it to others.

We're very pleased with everything! It's a perfect match for our needs.

My mother was a resident at Terra Bella for two years, The place continues to go down hill with respect to insect control (coc roaches') they got so bad we had no choice but to move my mother in with me. After lacking insect control for months they sent in a new Co. tec. and we talked to him and he said coc roaches were in the walls coming jn the electrical out lets and water lines. while there he threw away microwave oven coffee maker and coffee stand due to damaged beyond use by coc roaches. when we moved to a new place they had to spray because coc roaches came with us. After all this Terra Bella refuses to give back my mother's deposit and rent for the [time frame removed] she could not live there. While visiting Bella Terra take a good look at the dining room carpet this should tell you all you need to know!

They are installing new carpet installation , and doing some remodeling. The meals are good. They have activities such as; singing, bingo and I love to play bridge. They are very helpful to be around people. There is a chappel if you cant make it to church. They are very friendly people. It feels very good to be here. I used A Place for Mom, and it helped a lot.

I would suggest that, they add a new after hours system so relatives can visit or in case of an emergency. As of now, only EMT, ambulance can enter after 7pm. The dining experience, and staff was good, but meals, lunch and dinner were subpar and sometimes inedible. Other residents said they used to have a great chef, then the pandemic hit, and they lost him. The building needs capital contributions from their parent company, new carpeting in common areas, and new condensate lines for the a/c.
